1923 (Paramount+) - Jennifer Ehle has been cast in the Taylor Sheridan series as Sister Mary, "an Irish nun who teaches at the school for American Indians in Montana that Teonna Rainwater (Amineh Nieves) attends." Sebastian Roché, as previously announced, plays the headmaster of the school, Father Renaud. (Deadline.com)
ACAPULCO (Apple TV+) - Gabriela Milla will recur on the show's sophomore run as Isabel, "the new love interest of [Enrique] Arrizon's Máximo, who is described as funny, mischievous and outspoken. Isabel comes from a large family that owns and operates a popular local restaurant, and she remains active in her local community." (Variety.com)
CLEANING LADY, THE (FOX) - K.C. Collins is slated to recur on the series as Tyler Jefferson, "a high-flier at the FBI, has quickly risen up the ranks at the bureau through his hard work, tenacity and sheer brilliance. Now leading the task force on a high-profile drug case, Tyler finds himself hounded by Special Agent Garrett Miller (Oliver Hudson) who is determined to get back on the case. What starts as a great rivalry between Tyler and Garrett turns into a true partnership as they strive towards the same goal - to take down one of the biggest drug kingpins in Vegas." (Deadline.com)
FULL CIRCLE (HBO Max) - CCH Pounder has been tapped for a yet-to-be-revealed role on the limited series from director Steven Soderbergh and writer Ed Solomon. (Deadline.com)
GRENDEL (Netflix) - The streamer has opted not to move forward with the eight-episode series, an adaptation of Matt Wagner's comic book series, which "had done the bulk of its filming but the series was not finished." Abubakr Ali toplined the project, from Andrew Dabb, which Dark Horse Entertainment has the option to sell elsewhere. Jaime Ray Newman, Julian Black Antelope, Madeline Zima, Kevin Corrigan, Emma Ho, Erik Palladino, Brittany Allen and Andy Mientus also star; while Dabb, Wagner, Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg and Chris Tongue are the executive producers. Rachel Goldberg directed the first two installments. (Deadline.com)
SUGAR (Apple TV+) - The Colin Farrell-led private detective drama has cast Nate Corddry, Sydney Chandler, Elizabeth Anweis, Miguel Sandoval and Jason Butler Harner in yet-to-be-revealed roles. They'll join the previously cast Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Amy Ryan, Anna Gunn, James Cromwell, Dennis Boutsikaris, Alex Hernandez and Lindsay Pulsipher. (Deadline.com)
SUPERSEX (Netflix, New!) - Alessandro Borghi is set to star as real life European pornstar Rocco Siffredi in a seven-episode series at the streaming service: "At the center of the story are unpublished aspects of the pornstar, a profound story that runs through his life since childhood. His family, his origins, his relationship with love, the starting point and the context that led him to embark on his path in pornography." Jasmine Trinca, Adriano Giannini and Saul Nanni also star in the roles of Lucia, Tommaso and Rocco as a young man, respectively. Francesca Manieri is behind the project with Matteo Rovere, Francesco Carrozzini and Francesca Mazzoleni as the directors for The Apartment Pictures and Groenlandia. (Deadline.com)
THEM (Amazon) - Deborah Ayorinde, Pam Grier, Luke James, Joshua J. Williams and Jeremy Bobb will topline the show's second season, "Them: The Scare," with Wayne Knight, Carlito Olivero, Charles Brice and Iman Shumpert set to recur. The story centers on LAPD Detective Dawn Reeve (Ayorinde), "who is assigned to a new case: a gruesome murder that has left the most hardened detectives shaken. As Dawn draws closer to the truth, something malevolent grips her and her family." Grier plays Dawn's mother, Athena; with James as Edmund Gaines, "an aspiring actor who appears to be a sensitive soul but has a deep void within him"; Williams as Kelvin "Kel" Reeve, Dawn's teenage son; Bobb as Ronald McKinney, Dawn's partner; Knight as Lt. Schiff; Olivero as Joaquin Diaz; Brice as Reggie Marks; and Shumpert as Dawn's ex, Corey. (THR.com)
UNDER THE BRIDGE (Hulu, New!) - Samir Mehta and Liz Tigelaar have scored an eight-episode order from the streamer for a limited series based on Rebecca Godfrey's book "about the 1997 true story of a fourteen-year-old who went to join friends at a party and never returned home. Seven teenage girls and a boy were accused of the savage murder." Quinn Shephard, Stacey Silverman and Geeta Patel will also executive produce for Tigelaar's ABC Signature-based Best Day Ever with the latter attached to direct. (Deadline.com)
WONDER YEARS, THE (ABC) - Patti LaBelle has been tapped for a two-episode arc on the reboot series as Shirley Williams, mother of Dulé Hill's character Bill, "a church choir director, described as sweet as she can be but has another side to her when choir members don't quite hit the right notes." YELLOWJACKETS (Showtime) - Nuha Jes Izman will recur on the upcoming season as Crystal, "a member of the JV squad and a hard-core theater enthusiast who makes the dubious decision to bond with Misty." (Deadline.com)
