Apple Original Films boards "The Gorge," with Anya Taylor-Joy set to star alongside Miles Teller in new feature film from Skydance

· Apple Original Films will expand its award-winning feature film slate with "The Gorge," and SAG Award-winner Anya Taylor-Joy ("The Queen's Gambit," "Emma," upcoming "Furiosa") will star alongside Miles Teller in the latest feature film from Skydance.

· "The Gorge" is a high-action, genre-bending love story directed by Scott Derrickson, and based on a spec script by Zach Dean. In addition to starring, Teller will serve as executive producer on the film.

· Skydance's David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger are producing alongside Crooked Highway's Scott Derrickson, C. Robert Cargill, Sherryl Clark, as well as Zach Dean, Adam Kohlbrenner and Greg Goodman.

· "The Gorge" hails from a first-look partnership with Apple and Skydance Media, and will join feature films including "The Greatest Beer Run Ever," from director Peter Farrelly that stars Zac Efron, now streaming Apple TV+; "Ghosted," a high-concept romantic action adventure film starring Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, and directed by Dexter Fletcher; and, "The Family Plan," the recently announced new action-comedy starring Mark Wahlberg.

· The film marks the latest collaboration for Skydance and Miles Teller following his leading role in "Top Gun: Maverick." Skydance and screenwriter Zach Dean also recently collaborated on "The Tomorrow War."

· Momentum around the Apple Original Films slate continues to grow since the debut of Apple TV+ just under three years ago. In addition to "CODA" landing three historic Academy Awards, including this year's top prize for Best Picture, Apple Original Films recently premiered the broadly acclaimed documentary "Sidney," Peter Farrelly's "The Greatest Beer Run Ever," "Cha Cha Real Smooth," winner of the 2022 Sundance Film Festival U.S. Dramatic Audience Award, and "Luck," a new animated feature from Skydance Animation. Upcoming features include "Raymond & Ray," starring Ewan McGregor and Ethan Hawke; " Spirited," the modern musical rendition of Charles Dickens' classic holiday story starring Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell and Octavia Spencer; "Causeway," a new film starring and produced by Academy Award-winner Jennifer Lawrence and directed by Lila Neugebauer; documentary event feature "Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me"; and "Emancipation," directed and executive produced by Antoine Fuqua, and starring and produced by Will Smith; and, Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio's highly anticipated upcoming film, "Killers of the Flower Moon."

· Apple TV+ offers premium, compelling drama and comedy series, feature films, groundbreaking documentaries, and kids and family entertainment, and is available to watch across all your favorite screens. After its launch on November 1, 2019, Apple TV+ became the first all-original streaming service to launch around the world, and has premiered more original hits and received more award recognitions faster than any other streaming service in its debut. To date, Apple Original films, documentaries, and series have earned 278 wins and 1,164 award nominations and counting.
