ELSBETH (CBS) - Wendell Pierce and Carra Patterson have joined the Carrie Preston-led drama pilot, a spin-off of "The Good Wife" and "The Good Fight" series. Pierce plays Captain Wagner, "a New York police Captain who owns every room that he enters. Experienced and charismatic, Wagner is the toast of the department." And Patterson is set as Officer Kaya Blanke, "a stoic, ethical New York police officer who's used to being overlooked by her superiors." (Deadline.com)
PENGUIN, THE (HBO Max) - Clancy Brown will recur on "The Batman" spin-off series as Salvatore Maroni, who in the comics was "a powerful mob boss and gangster in Gotham City and an enemy of Batman. He was also the one who disfigured poor Harvey Dent." (Deadline.com)
SO HELP ME TODD (CBS) - Briga Heelan and Marissa Jaret Winokur will both drop by the show's March 30 episode as Amy, "a juror from the same trial suspected of the murder"; and Sydney, "a fellow juror obsessed with true crime," respectively. (TVLine.com)
