CBS celebrates the extraordinary James Corden and his final THE LATE LATE SHOW with two unique experiences. The Network will feature a 20+ hour TikTok LIVE countdown of non-repeating "best of" moments from eight years of his award-winning show; and Corden will host this week's Thursday night schedule with on-air video intros for the evening's primetime programs, including his own primetime special. THE LAST LAST LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN CARPOOL KARAOKE SPECIAL, commemorating the groundbreaking impact James Corden has made on late night television, will air Thursday, April 27 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) ahead of the final broadcast of THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN that night (12:37-1:37 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*.
20+ Hour TikTok LIVE Countdown - As an added means of singing the praises of James Corden and his award-winning show, CBS has curated a 20+ hours-long collection of over 1,200 memorable moments from 1,200 THE LATE LATE SHOW episodes to showcase in a video countdown on TikTok (@CBS) kicking off immediately after the penultimate East Coast airing of THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN on Wednesday, April 26. The countdown will stream continuously (no moments repeated!) until the start of the East Coast airing of the primetime special THE LAST LAST LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN CARPOOL KARAOKE SPECIAL on Thursday, April 27. The TikTok countdown, a mix of hilarious, thrilling and heartwarming moments from the show, will include monologues, news, guest interviews, musical performances, "Carpool Karaoke" and recurring segments.
James Corden Hosts CBS' Primetime Lineup on Thursday - On Thursday, April 27, triple threat James Corden will have triple hosting duties on CBS ... In addition to his highly anticipated 10:00 PM, ET/PT primetime special and final THE LATE LATE SHOW that night, Corden will host the Network's primetime lineup, popping up on screen with intros for YOUNG SHELDON, GHOSTS, SO HELP ME TODD and his own primetime special!
Additional fanfare this week includes an animated Corden driving across screens during various CBS shows through Thursday to drive viewers to his primetime special.
