AND JUST LIKE THAT... (Max) - Candice Bergen will reprise her "Sex and the City" role of Enid Frick during the upcoming season. Gloria Steinem will also appear as herself. They'll join the previously announced John Corbett, Victor Garber, Oliver Hudson and Gary Dourdon. (EW.com)
ANDOR (Disney+) - Executive producer Tony Gilroy has discontinued his producing duties on the series in light of the WGA strike. "I discontinued all writing and writing-related work on Andor prior to midnight, May 1. After being briefed on the Saturday showrunner meeting, I informed Chris Keyser at the WGA on Sunday morning that I would also be ceasing all non-writing producing functions," Gilroy said in a statement. ELSBETH/MATLOCK (CBS) - The Eye has ordered both its drama pilots to series for the 2023-24 season. (Deadline.com)
FANTASY ISLAND (FOX) - The network has nixed the anthology series after two seasons. Said the network in a statement: "We were very pleased with Fantasy Island's fun and escapist creative, which we had hoped would gain strong traction among viewers. Sony Pictures Television is an important partner of ours, and we look forward to continuing to work with them on Accused, Alert: Missing Persons Unit, Doc and the upcoming animated series Universal Basic Guys/Hoagie Bros. We'd also like to thank Fantasy Island's cast, led by Roselyn Sánchez, Kiara Barnes and John Gabriel Rodriquez, crew and executive producers Liz Craft, Sarah Fain and Anne Clements for their partnership on the series."
FERTILITY FRAUDSTER (Netflix, New!) - Curious Films and AJH Films are spearheading a three-part series at the streamer which "will delve deeper into the global fertility industry by focusing on Jonathan Meijer, who late last month was ordered to stop donating sperm by judges in The Netherlands and told he will be fined €100,000 ($110,000) for each future infraction." Dov Freedman, Jessie Versluys, Natalie Hill and Alex Holder are the executive producers with Josh Allott directing and Kathryn Taylor producing. (Deadline.com)

JUMPSTART/POPPA'S HOUSE (A.K.A. UNTITLED WAYANS PROJECT) (CBS) - The network has likewise ordered its Wayans family comedy to series. Fellow multi-camera entry "JumpStart" however is not moving forward. (Deadline.com)
