BURBANK, CA (JULY 22, 2024) - The CW Network today announced the broadcast crews calling the upcoming 2024 season of ACC and Pac-12 college football games, as well as the addition of the new live CW FOOTBALL SATURDAY studio show debuting on Saturday, August 31.

"The second season of college football on The CW will be bigger than ever with coast-to-coast coverage of powerhouse teams from the ACC and Pac-12 conferences," said Dennis Miller, President, The CW Network. "With the addition of the new live studio preshow and a roster of expert commentators, reporters and analysts, The CW is poised to become a premier college football destination on broadcast television for fans every Saturday this fall."

The CW's lead broadcast crew for ACC and select Pac-12 games will consist of veteran broadcaster Thom Brennaman alongside booth analyst Max Browne and sideline reporter Treavor Scales. Brennaman spent 26 years at Fox Sports calling the network's marquee NFL and MLB games, including numerous postseason and World Series matchups. Brennaman also served as Fox's lead play-by-play announcer for the Bowl Championship Series, including the BCS National Championship Game, Fiesta Bowl, Sugar Bowl and Orange Bowl. He previously served as the television voice for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds. Browne is a former college quarterback who played for USC and Pitt and previously appeared as an analyst for Pac-12 Networks. Returning for his second season as a CW Sports sideline reporter, Scales was a four-time All-Ivy running back at Harvard and currently hosts pre- and post-game shows for the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Hawks.

Pac-12 games on The CW will be called by hall-of-fame play-by-play announcer Ted Robinson, booth analyst Chase Daniel and sideline reporter Nigel Burton. Robinson is a two-time Emmy(R) Award-winning announcer who has spent more than four decades covering a variety of sports, most recently serving as the lead play-by-play announcer for football and men's basketball on Pac-12 Networks from its launch in 2012 through the 2023-24 season. He has also served as play-by-play announcer for the Golden State Warriors, Oakland Athletics, San Francisco 49ers and San Francisco Giants, and works with NBC, Tennis Channel and USA Network calling dozens of major tennis events including the French Open, US Open, Wimbledon and the Gold Medal match at the 2012 Olympics. In total, he has called 13 Olympic Games and was inducted into the California Sports Hall of Fame in 2022. Daniel is a former college quarterback for the University of Missouri who spent 14 years in the NFL before retiring in 2023. Burton served as head coach for Portland State's football program for five years from 2010-14. He was a three-year starter at safety for the University of Washington and most recently served as a football analyst across Pac-12 Networks studio programming, traveling road show and on game broadcasts.

The late window Pac-12 "After Dark" games will be called by announcer J.B. Long, booth analyst Michael Bumpus and sideline reporters Camryn Irwin and Heidi Watney. Long has appeared as a play-by-play announcer on Pac-12 Networks and called games for MLB Network, ESPN, Bright House Sports and Big Ten Network. He is currently the play-by-play radio voice of the Los Angeles Rams and one of the founding members of Bleacher Report. Bumpus is a former wide receiver for the Washington State Cougars who hosts the Seattle Sports radio "Bump and Stacy Show," is the lead host for Seahawks radio and has recently served as an in-studio and game broadcast analyst for Pac-12 Networks. Watney was a former host of MLB Network's "Quick Pitch" and recently served as an MLB field reporter for Apple TV+, along with past roles at TBS and New England Sports Network.

The new CW FOOTBALL SATURDAY live studio show will premiere on Saturday, August 31 as The CW's 2024 college football season kicks off with a Pac-12 doubleheader featuring Portland State visiting Washington State (3:00-6:30pm ET) followed by a primetime matchup between Idaho State and Oregon State (6:30-10:00pm ET). Every Saturday, host Mike Yam and a rotating panel of expert analysts including former Washington State captain and nine-year NFL veteran linebacker Erik Coleman, former Washington State wide receiver Michael Bumpus and former Portland State head coach and University of Washington safety Nigel Burton will break down the day's exciting game action. Yam currently serves as a studio host at NFL Network while also regularly commentating on SiriusXM Radio. Prior to NFL Network, he spent nine years as the lead studio host for Pac-12 Networks after four years with ESPN where he served as an anchor on "SportsCenter" and was a co-host of ESPN's "Fantasy Focus Basketball" and a frequent contributor on ESPN Radio.

ACC college football on The CW begins with Marshall at Virginia Tech on Saturday, September 7 (4:30-8:00pm ET), followed by a primetime matchup between Ole Miss and Wake Forest on Saturday, September 14 (6:30-10:00pm ET).
