Max Celebrates Halloween With "No Sleep October" Collection And Brand New Exclusive Films
Today marks the launch of "No Sleep October," a month-long celebration for Halloween and horror fans alike. Max's brand new exclusive films, a best-in-class horror library, imaginative curations, designs, and specially designed art featuring iconic stars from fans' favorite scary movies will haunt viewers and keep them up all night with fear.
"No Sleep October" brings horror fans three films only available to stream on Max:
New Max Original Film, "Salem's Lot" (10/3) - Author Ben Mears returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem's Lot in search of inspiration for his next book only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a bloodthirsty vampire.
New Max Original Film, "Caddo Lake" (10/10) - When an eight-year-old girl mysteriously vanishes, a series of past deaths and disappearances start to link together, forever altering a broken family's history.
"Trap" (10/25) - A father and teen daughter attend a pop concert, where they realize they're at the center of a dark and sinister event.
To help viewers plunge into the wide array of films on Max, the platform will feature a lineup of creatively curated film selections including "Screaming Now: Essential Picks," "Pure Nightmare Fuel," "Stephen King's Universe," and more. Within these choices, fans will find some of their favorite Halloween movies, such as "The Shining," "The Exorcist," and "Scream," all month long. These picks will also include M. Night Shyamalan films along with A24 spine-chillers such as "X" and "MaXXXine," available to stream alone on Max on 10/18.
For Saturday night's in, Max will spotlight one special Halloween feature of the week on the homepage, showcasing the best spooky season films available on Max.
