NEW YORK, NY (November 07, 2024) - BET Media Group and Entertainment Tonight (ET) will honor the music and cultural icon Quincy Jones with a primetime news special, "BET AND ET PRESENT QUINCY JONES: LIFE AND LEGACY," premiering tonight, November 7 at 9 PM ET/PT on BET. This special tribute will feature rare archival footage and exclusive interviews with Jones throughout his groundbreaking career, showcasing his influence across music, film, television, and philanthropy. ET was on the scene for many of his defining projects, capturing moments from the star's extraordinary journey.

The BET & ET news special highlights Quincy Jones' immense impact across music, television, film, and philanthropy, including his iconic collaborations with artists like Michael Jackson and Aretha Franklin. It also spotlights his groundbreaking role in producing the 1985 charity single "We Are the World," which brought together top musical talent from all genres to raise vital funds and awareness for famine relief in Africa.

BET will also re-air an encore presentation of Q 85: A MUSICAL CELEBRATION FOR QUINCY JONES on Thursday, November 7 at 10 PM ET/PT.
