LOS ANGELES, CA (January 30, 2025) - Lifetime unveils its thrilling new weekend lineup, kicking off with Trapped in the Spotlight premiering on Saturday, February 15 at 8p/7c. The movie stars Melyssa Ford (Hunting Housewives; Love & Hip Hop Hollywood) and Monique Coleman (Greed: A Seven Deadly Sins; High School Musical), who also makes her debut as an executive producer. The movie follows two R&B singers kidnapped and held hostage to finish their incomplete album.
The following weekend, Saturday, February 22 at 8p/7c, Lexi Minetree (Law and Order: SVU; The Paramedic Who Stalked Me) and Rachel Coopes (Chicago P.D.; Phoenix) star as Amish girls drawn to the "forbidden world," only to stumble upon a murder in My Amish Double Life.
The first weekend in March includes previously announced movie, Killing the Competition starring Melissa Joan Hart, followed by Abducted in the Everglades airing on Sunday, March 2 at 8p/7c. starring Tori Spelling (90210; Dancing with the Stars) as a mother searching for her missing daughter in the Everglades.

Trapped in the Spotlight
Neveah (Coleman), a canceled R&B singer, struggles to rebuild her career and regain her fame 15 years after breaking up with her estranged co-star, Lupita (Ford), who publicly betrayed her. When a psychotic music producer kidnaps both women, they must earn their survival by completing their magnum opus album while being held hostage in his studio. With life and legacy on the line, Neveah and Lupita must face the demons of their past and decide if they can trust each other in order to make it out alive. Emmanuel Kabongo and Romaine Waite also star.
Trapped in the Spotlight is produced by Candour Pictures in Association with Vortex Media for Lifetime. Monique Coleman, Rebecca Lamarche, Myles Milne, Jesse Ikeman, Bill Marks, Justin Rebelo, Nicole G. Leier, and Brendan Uegama executive produce. Nicole G. Leier directed based off the script written by Rene Rodriguez-Lopez, Derick Ackerley, Alberto Halfeld, and Jag Gill.
My Amish Double Life
By day Emma is a good Amish girl, but by night she sneaks out with her Amish friend, Rebecca, and together they lead a double life, going to clubs, flirting with boys, and falling in love in the forbidden "English" world. When Emma accidentally witnesses a murder while out, her life and community is thrown into peril.
My Amish Double Life is produced by Johnson Production Group and Juniper Lane Productions for Lifetime. Joseph Wilka serves as executive producer. J. Bryan Dick wrote the script and Cooper Harrington directs.
Abducted in the Everglades
When her college-aged daughter goes missing while on Spring Break down in Miami, her mother Beverly (Spelling) flies out to find her, acquiring the assistance of rugged boatman Ray as they search the vast Everglades.
Abducted in the Everglades is produced by Johnson Production Group and Sunshine Films for Lifetime with Joseph Wilka, Ruthanne Secunda and Tori Spelling serving as executive producers. Richard Pierce and Dane K. Braun & Thomas Dolan-Gavitt wrote the script and Damián Romay directs.
