LIFETIME ANNOUNCES TWO NEW ORIGINAL MOVIES FOR THIS SPRING

NEW YORK, NY (February 20, 2025) - Lifetime announces two new original movies debuting this spring, starting off with D.B. Woodside (Lucifer, The Night Agent, Suits) and Claire Qute (Overcompensating, The Detail, Star Trek: Discovery) in Taken at a Basketball Game, premiering Saturday, March 15 at 8/7c. Inspired by real events, the movie follows as a father desperately searches for his teenage daughter after she is abducted while at a basketball game.

Elisabeth Rohm (Girl in the Basement) returns to executive produce and direct Keshia Knight Pulliam in the thriller Wife Stalker, debuting March 29 at 8/7c. Based on the book The Wife Stalker by Liv Constantine, the film also stars real-life spouses Grace and TraĆ­ Byers and follows a wife whose husband leaves her for a woman with a nefarious past.

About Taken at a Basketball Game

Desperate to bond with his estranged 18-year-old daughter Robyn (Claire Qute), Wayne Edwards (D.B. Woodside) gets them tickets to a basketball game where he envisions the two of them cheering on their favorite team while they reconnect. However, when Robyn goes to the restroom and doesn't return, Wayne's worst fear is confirmed when he realizes she's been kidnapped. On a mission to find her in a stadium filled with thousands of people, he races against the clock and will stop at nothing to find her before it is too late. Moni Ogunsuyi also stars.

Taken at a Basketball Game is produced by Neshama Entertainment in association with MarVista Entertainment. Keith Nietupski, Larry Grimaldi, Hannah Pillemer and Fernando Szew executive produce for MarVista. Arnie Zipursky, Dayna Zipursky and Suzanne Berger executive produce for Neshama. Ruba Nadda directs from a script written by Richard Blaney & Gregory Small.

About Wife Stalker

Joanna (Keshia Knight Pulliam) and Leo (TraĆ­ Byers) seem to have it all. Two adorable children, Evie (Alayna Bernard) and Aaron (AJ Bernard), and a beautiful house in the suburbs. But their perfect marriage begins to unravel when Piper (Grace Byers), the owner of a wellness center, moves to town and sets her sights on Leo who quickly falls for her charms. As Piper ruthlessly maneuvers her way into the family, Joanna starts digging into her past and discovers some very disturbing secrets - including two previous dead husbands.
