CBS's Comedy Block Turns in its Best Performance in Viewers and Key Demographics Since October
"CSI: Miami" Delivers Its Second Highest Viewer and Demographic Deliveries of the Season
CBS placed first in viewers and adults 25-54 led by the best performance of its comedy block in viewers and key demographics since October on a competitive Monday that included the return of "Prison Break" and "Heroes," according to preliminary Nielsen Live Plus same-day ratings for Jan. 22.
From 8:00-10:00 PM, the comedy block delivered its best viewer and adult 25-54 performance since Oct. 9 and highest in adults 18-49 since Oct. 16.
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (6.0/09, 9.55m) averaged a 4.2/10 in adults 25-54 and 3.5/09 in adults 18-49. This is HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER'S best delivery in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since 11/27/06.
THE CLASS (5.7/08, 8.99m) averaged a 4.1/09 in adults 25-54 and 3.2/08 in adults 18-49. This is THE CLASS's best households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 delivery since 10/9/06.
TWO AND A HALF MEN (10.1/14, 16.06m) averaged a 6.3/13 in adults 25-54 and 4.9/11 in adults 18-49. This is TWO AND A HALF MEN best households and adults 25-54 since 11/13/06, best viewer delivery since 10/16/06 and best delivery in adults 18-49 since 12/11/06.
THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE (8.4/12, 13.01m) averaged a 5.2/11 in adults 25-54 and 4.2/09 in adults 18-49. This is OLD CHRISTINE's best delivery in households, viewers and adults 25-54 since 10/16/06 and best adults 18-49 performance since 10/2/06.
At 10 PM, CSI: MIAMI was first in households (12.0/19), viewers (18.67m), adults 25-54 (7.5/18) and adults 18-49 (6.0/15). This is CSI: MIAMI's best delivery in households, viewers and adults 25-54 since 11/13/06 (as well as the 2nd best delivery in these measures this season) and the best delivery in adults 18-49 since 11/20/06.
For the night, CBS was first in households (9.0/14), viewers (14.16m) and adults 25-54 (5.8/13).

CBS had its most watched Monday of the season led by the best viewer performance this season of CSI: MIAMI and the best showing of its comedy block in viewers and key demographics since October, on a competitive Monday that included the return of "Prison Break" and "Heroes," according to Nielsen Live Plus same-day ratings for Jan. 22.
For the night, CBS was first in households (9.0/14), viewers (14.11m) and adults 25-54 (5.8/13). This marks CBS's best Monday delivery this season in viewers, best delivery in adults 18-49 (4.6/11) since Nov. 13 and best adults 25-54 performance since Oct 9.
From 8:00-10:00PM, the comedy block delivered its best viewer (11.74m) performance since Oct. 9 and highest ratings in both adults 18-49 (3.9/10) and adults 25-54 (4.9/11) since Oct. 16.
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (5.9/09, 9.42m) averaged a 4.1/10 in adults 25-54 and 3.5/09 in adults 18-49. This is HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER'S best delivery in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since Nov. 27.
THE CLASS (5.6/08, 8.90m) averaged a 4.1/09 in adults 25-54 and 3.2/08 in adults 18-49. This is THE CLASS's best households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 delivery since Oct. 9.
TWO AND A HALF MEN (10.0/14, 15.85m) averaged a 6.2/13 in adults 25-54 and 4.8/11 in adults 18-49. This is TWO AND A HALF MEN's best households, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since Dec. 11, best viewer delivery since Oct. 16. TWO AND A HALF MEN topped "Heroes" (15.22m) and "24" (14.28m) in viewers at 9:00 PM.
THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE (8.3/12, 12.81m) averaged a 5.2/11 in adults 25-54 and 4.1/09 in adults 18-49. This is OLD CHRISTINE's best delivery in households, viewers and adults 25-54 since Oct. 16.
At 10 PM, CSI: MIAMI was first in households (12.1/19), viewers (18.86m), adults 25-54 (7.6/18) and adults 18-49 (6.1/15). CSI: MIAMI topped NBC's "Studio 60" and ABC's "What About Brian" combined in households (vs. 8.5/13, +42%), adults 18-49 (vs. 5.6/14, +9%), adults 25-54 (vs. 6.3/15, +21%) and viewers (vs. 12.58m, +50%). This is CSI: MIAMI's best delivery this season in viewers, matches the best adults 25-54 performance, is the best delivery in households and adults 18-49 since Nov. 13.
