"CSI: NY" TOPS "LOST" FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEK
"CSI: NY" Expands Its Viewer Lead Over "Lost" and Closes the Gap in Key Demographics Versus Last Week
In their second head-to-head matchup, CBS's CSI: NY expanded its viewer advantage over ABC's "Lost" by more than one million and narrowed the gap in key demographics versus last week, according to preliminary Nielsen Live Plus same-day ratings for Wednesday, Feb. 14.
CSI: NY was first in households (9.4/15), viewers (14.63m), second behind "Lost" in adults 25-54 (5.5/13), adults 18-49 (4.4/11) and adults 18-34 (3.1/09).
Compared to last week, CSI: NY improved its lead over the ABC drama in both households (+1.8 rtg pts from +1.3 rtg pts) and viewers (+1.86m viewers from +480,000) and closed the gap in adults 25-54 (-0.6 from --1.0), adults 18-49 (-1.2 from -1.9) and adults 18-34 (-1.9 from -3.1).
At 9:00 PM, CRIMINAL MINDS was a strong second behind "American Idol" in households (9.6/14), viewers (15.41m), adults 25-54 (5.2/11) and adults 18-49 (4.0/10).
At 8:00 PM, RETURN TO JERICHO (S), a one-hour recap of the freshman drama's fall season, was second in households (5.0/08) and viewers (7.69m). JERICHO returns with its spring premiere next week.
Final Wednesday ratings will be available this afternoon.
