LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- While HBO's "The Sopranos" (7.3 million, #1) remained perched on the cable ratings throne, TNT and ESPN continued ride their NBA coverage into the top 15.
TNT served up the Spurs/Suns on Wednesday (5.0 million, #2), the Warriors/Jazz on Tuesday (4.4 million, #6), the Suns/Spurs on Monday (4.3 million, #7) and the Bulls/Pistons on Tuesday (3.2 million, #14).
ESPN then offered up the Suns/Spurs on Friday (4.5 million, #T4), the Pistons/Bulls on Thursday (3.5 million, #12) and MLB's Yankees/Mets showdown on Sunday (3.6 million, #T10).
Filling out the rest of the top 15 were USA's "WWE Raw" - 9:00 (4.5 million, #4) and 10:00 (4.7 million, #3) - as well as HBO's "Entourage" (3.4 million, #13), VH1's "Charm School" (3.2 million, #T14), USA's Saturday broadcast of "Sweet Home Alabama" (3.6 million, #T10) and Speed's NASCAR coverage on Saturday (3.8 million, #8).
And finally on the broadcast side, MyNetworkTV scored its highest household rating to date on Wednesday thanks to its specials "Anna Nicole Smith: Centerfold Revisited" and "Britney Spears: A Pop Idol Exposed." The pair combined for a 0.9 household rating, double the numbers from its telenovelas the previous week.
