NBC RATINGS RESULTS FOR THE WEEK OF MAY 28-JUNE 3

BURBANK, Calif. � June 5, 2007 � NBC averaged a 1.6 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 4.8 million viewers overall for the week of May 28-June 3, according to "live plus same day" in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

Primetime averages for the week of May 28-June 3 in adults 18-49 were Fox (2.6/8), CBS (2.0/6), ABC (1.8/6), NBC (1.6/5), Univision (1.6/5), CW (0.7) and Telemundo (0.5/2). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (7.6 million), Fox (6.7 million), ABC (5.4 million), NBC (4.8 million), Univision (3.5 million), CW (1.9 million) and Telemundo (1.1 million).

In regular program averages through 37 weeks of the 2006-07 broadcast year, NBC is running within a tenth of a point of last year's average in adult 18-49 rating (3.1 vs. 3.2). While Fox is up 2 percent versus last year in regular-program averages, ABC is down 5 percent (from a 3.8 at this point last year to a 3.6 this year) and CBS is down 8 percent (from a 3.8 to a 3.5).

NBC highlights for the week of May 28-June 3:

* On Monday, the live telecast of "Miss Universe 2007" ranked #1 in its time period in adults, men and women 18-34 and #2 in adults 18-49 and total viewers. "Miss Universe" was the highest-rated program on network television Monday night in adults 18-34.

* The "Miss Universe 2007" special grew dramatically throughout the telecast, increasing by 45 percent in 18-49 rating and 40 percent in total viewers from its first to its final half-hour.

* On Tuesday, an encore "Law & Order: SVU" won its time period in adults 18-34 and pulled to within 0.1 of a rating point of the time period lead in adults 18-49, opposite all first-run competition, including the season finale of ABC's "Boston Legal."

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

On Monday, May 28 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "The Real Wedding Crashers" averaged a 1.5 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 3.9 million viewers overall.

Monday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Miss Universe 2007" (2.5/7 in 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in its time period in adults 18-49 and #1 among adults, men and women 18-34.

"Miss Universe 2007" grew dramatically throughout the telecast, increasing from its first to its final half-hour by 45 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.9/8 from a 2.0/5) and by 40 percent in total viewers (to 8.5 million from 6.1 million).

On Tuesday, May 29 at 8 p.m. ET, a special encore telecast of "Law & Order" (2.0/6 in 18-49, 6.5 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in 18-49 and total viewers. At 9 p.m., an encore "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2.2/6 in 18-49, 7.4 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 10 percent in 18-49 and 14 percent in total viewers to rank #2 in 18-49, total viewers and all key measures, behind only the season finale of Fox's "House."

Tuesday from 10-11 p.m. ET, an encore "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (2.7/7 in 18-49, 8.5 million viewers overall) was #1 in adults and women 18-34 and women 18-49 and pulled to within 0.1 of a rating point of the lead in adults 18-49, opposite all first-run competition, including the season finale of ABC's "Boston Legal." "SVU" built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 23 percent in 18-49 rating and by 14 percent in total viewers

NBC steadily built audience throughout Tuesday night, growing by 90 percent in adult 18-49 rating and by 40 percent in overall total viewers from the first to the final half-hour of primetime (to a 2.8/8 in 18-49 and 8.639 million viewers overall for the 10:30-11 p.m. half-hour from a 1.9/6 in 18-49 and 6.182 million viewers from 8-8:30 p.m.).

On Wednesday, May 30 from 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Most Outrageous Moments" averaged a 1.7/6 in 18-49 and 5.5 million viewers overall. At 9 p.m., a second encore "Most Outrageous Moments" (2.4/7 in 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 41 percent in 18-49 rating and by 28 percent in total viewers. At 10 p.m., an encore "Medium" averaged a 1.5/4 in 18-49 and 4.7 million viewers overall.

On Thursday, May 31 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore "My Name is Earl" averaged a 1.8/6 in 18-49 and 4.9 million viewers overall. At 8:30 p.m., a rebroadcast of "30 Rock" delivered a 1.5/5 in 18-49 and 3.9 million viewers overall. At 9 p.m., an encore telecast of "The Office" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 3.9 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 20 percent in adult 18-49 rating. At 9:30 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Scrubs" delivered a 1.9/5 in 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall. From 10-11 p.m., "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" averaged a 1.7/5 in 18-49 and 4.1 million viewers overall.

On Friday, June 1from 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "1 vs 100" averaged a 1.2/5 in 18-49 and 4.6 million viewers overall. At 9 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" delivered a 1.1/4 in 18-49 and 4.5 million viewers overall. At 10 p.m., an encore telecast of "Law & Order" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 5.9 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 45 percent in 18-49 and by 31 percent in total viewers.

On Saturday, June 2 from 8-11:09 p.m. ET, NBC Sports' coverage of game three of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals between the Anaheim Ducks and the Ottawa Senators averaged a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 1.6 million viewers overall.

On Sunday, June 3 from 7-9 p.m. ET, an encore "Dateline NBC" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) was #2 (tied) in adults 18-49. "Dateline" reported its best Sunday results in 18-49 and total viewers since May 6, up 40 percent in 18-49 versus the prior week (1.4 vs. 1.0). From its first to its final half-hour, "Dateline" built by 64 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.8/5 from a 1.1/4) and by 43 percent in overall total viewers. At 9 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Friday Night Lights" averaged a 0.7/2 in adults 18-49 and 2.1 million viewers overall. At 10 p.m., an encore "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 3.9 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 100 percent in 18-49 rating. The Sunday "SVU" encore was up 40 percent in 18-49 versus the prior week (1.4 vs. 1.0).
