"SNF" Final Game of '07 Up 33% Over Last Year
NEW YORK � Dec. 31, 2007 � Last night's NBC Sunday Night Football game between the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts propelled NBC to a win on Sunday night. The game was the No. 1 overnight rating on any network on Sunday night (excluding the NFL overrun on Fox), earning an 11.6 overnight rating and 19 share (8:30-11:15 p.m. ET), an increase of 33 percent over the final game of the regular season a year ago (8.7/17 for Green Bay-Chicago).
The overnight rating peaked with a 12.8/21 from 11-11:30 p.m. ET as the Titans clinched a playoff spot by defeating the Colts, 16-10.
The top ten metered markets are as follows:

2. Nashville: 36.8/51
3. Cleveland: 28.5/40
4. Knoxville: 20.9/29
5. Columbus: 19.5/28
6. Memphis: 16.5/23
7. Cincinnati: 16.3/25
8. Louisville: 15.1/23
9. Norfolk: 14.6/21
10. Jacksonville: 14.5/22
NOTE: The Cleveland Browns would have advanced to the playoffs if Tennessee lost. Cleveland was the third highest-ranked of the 55-metered markets and three of the top ten markets were Ohio cities.
