WEEK No. 18:

ABC was up from the prior week by 10% in Total Viewers (6.8 million vs. 6.2 million) and by 15% in Adults 18-49 (2.3/6 vs. 2.0/5).

Rankings: ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" ranked among the Top 4 TV shows for the week in Adults 18-49, behind only Fox's two installments of "American Idol" (Tue/Wed) and the "Idol"-led debut of "Moment of Truth" on Wednesday. In addition, "Home Edition" (No. 8) placed among the Top 10 most-watched programs during the week.

Monday

"Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann" (8:00-9:31 p.m.)

ABC's "Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann" led its time period for the second week in a row among Women 25-54 (4.5/10), while taking second Women 18-49 (3.6/8).

� "Dance War" was up over the prior week across each of the key men demos [Men18-34 (1.3/4 vs. 1.1/3), Men 18-49 (1.5/4 vs. 1.4/4) and Men 25-54 (1.9/4 vs. 1.8/4)] and Teens 12-17 (1.4/4 vs. 1.3/4).

Tuesday

With the Net's lineup of back-to-back episodes of "Just For Laughs," "According to Jim," "Carpoolers" and "Boston Legal," ABC was up over the previous Tuesday by 1.1 million viewers (6.2 million vs. 5.1 million) and by 36% in Adults 18-49 (1.9/5 vs. 1.4/3), posting week-to-week increases for the second week running despite facing Fox's "American Idol" from 8:00-10:00 p.m. both Tuesdays.

� ABC was up over the same Tuesday last year in both Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 (5.4 million and 1.5/4 in Adults 18-49 on 1/23/07).

Wednesday

Airing against Fox's "American Idol" and the series premiere of "Moment of Truth," ABC earned second place on Wednesday with Women 18-34 (2.5/7) for the second week in a row.

� ABC was up over the year-ago Wednesday (1/24/07), which also featured an all-original schedule, by 1.0 million viewers (6.1 million vs. 5.1 million) and by 22% in Adults 18-49 (2.2/6 vs. 1.8/5). From 8:00-10:00 p.m. among Adults 18-49 with "Wife Swap" and "Supernanny," ABC was up by 41% from the year-ago night in the 2-hour time period (2.4/6 vs. 1.7/4).

"Wife Swap" (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

At 8:00 p.m., "Wife Swap" outperformed CBS' "Power of 10" in the hour by 2.0 million viewers (5.6 million vs. 3.6 million) and by 138% in Adults 18-49 (1.9/5 vs. 0.8/2).

"Supernanny" (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

Opposite the series premiere of Fox's "Moment of Truth," "Supernanny" posted week-to-week increases in Total Viewers (7.2 million vs. 6.0 million) and across each of the key adult demographics: [Adults 18-34 (2.3/6 vs. 2.2/6), Adults 18-49 (2.8/7 vs. 2.4/6) and Adults 25-54 (3.0/7 vs. 2.6/6)], Teens 12-17 (1.7/5 vs. 1.1/3) and Kids 2-11 (1.3/5 vs. 1.2/5). "Supernanny" finished second in the hour among Adults 18-34 (2.3/6), Women 18-34 (3.2/8) and Women 18-49 (3.8/9).

� Compared to the Net's performance in the hour on the year-ago night with original comedies ("Knights of Prosperity"/"In Case of Emergency"), "Supernanny" improved the time period by 3.9 million viewers and by 115% in Adults 18-49 (3.3 million and 1.3/3 on 1/24/07).

Thursday

"Ugly Betty" (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

ABC's "Ugly Betty" won the opening hour of prime across each of the key women demos: Women 18-34 (3.1/9), Women 18-49 (3.9/10) and Women 25-54 (4.8/12). It was the series' 12th straight regular original telecast to rank No. 1 in its time slot with Women 18-34, topping second-place Fox's "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?" by 11% (3.1/9 vs. 2.8/8).

"Big Shots" (10:02-11:00 p.m.)

In the 10 o'clock hour, "Big Shots" was up week to week in both Total Viewers (4.9 million vs. 4.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.9/5 vs. 1.8/5).

Saturday

A rebroadcast of the "ABC Saturday Movie of the Week: Pretty Woman" took second on the night among Adults 18-49 (1.6/5), while taking the Net to the top spot among Women 18-49 (2.2/6) and Women 25-54 (2.5/7).

Sunday

ABC posted a dominant victory on Sunday in Adults 18-49 (3.7/9), outperforming second-place Fox on the evening by 32% (2.8/7), third-place CBS by 61% (2.3/6) and fourth-place NBC by 147% (1.5/4). Both CBS and NBC ran all-original programming on the evening, while ABC and Fox aired a mix of original and repeat programming. ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" qualified as Sunday's No. 1 TV program in the key young adult sales demo.

"America's Funniest Home Videos" (7:00-8:00 p.m.)

Matching a season-high, ABC's "America's Funniest Home Videos" ranked No. 1 during the opening hour of the night among Adults 18-49 (2.7/8-tie).

"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (8:00-10:00 p.m.)

ABC's 2-hour episode "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" beat its nearest competition in its time period by 1.8 million viewers (13.6 million vs. 11.8 million - CBS) and by 42% in Adults 18-49 (5.1/12 vs. 3.6/9 � Fox). In fact the veteran ABC unscripted series ranked No. 1 in each half-hour, growing by 2.4 million viewers (12.3 million to 14.7 million) and by 27% in Adults 18-49 (4.5/11 to 5.7/13) from its first to its final half-hour.

� "Home Edition" was up from the prior week by 3.1 million viewers and by 34% in Adults 18-49 (10.5 million & 3.8/8 on 1/20/08).
