BRAVO MARKS HIGHEST RATED MAY EVER AND ON PACE FOR 11TH QUARTER OF GROWTH
Network Up 68% In Adults 18-49 And 40% In Total Viewers
Bravo Remains No. 1 Cable Network Among Upscale, Educated and Engaged Adults 18-49
NEW YORK � May 28, 2008 � With an impressive year of monthly gains in every measure, Bravo marked its highest rated May ever in primetime with a remarkable 68 percent year-over-year increase among adults 18-49, 65 percent increase among women 18-49 and a 40 percent increase in total viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. On pace to have its eleventh quarter of consecutive year-over-year growth in adults 18-49, Bravo remains the fastest growing top 20 ad supported cable entertainment network among both adults and women 18-49.
Year-to-date, Bravo continues to rank as the number one cable network among upscale (125K+), educated and engaged adults 18-49 in primetime and ranks as the number 18 ad supported cable entertainment network overall, the network's highest rank ever. For the month of May, Bravo averaged 685,000 total viewers (vs. 491,000 in May 2007), 408,000 adults 18-49 (vs. 243,000) and 249,000 women 18-49 (vs. 151,000).
Bolstered by the success of the Emmy-nominated "Top Chef" � the number one food show on cable, which is enjoying its highest rated season to date through eleven episodes � Bravo's new and returning franchise series scored in May. Continuing Bravo's hallmark of increasing viewership with each original franchise cycle, "Top Chef: Chicago" is currently averaging 2,111,000 in adults 18-49 and 2,948,000 in total viewers, up 27 percent and 21 percent, respectively versus the first eleven episodes of the prior season. The third season of "Work Out" is averaging 573,000 in adults 18-49 and 731,000 in total viewers, up versus the prior season's first six episodes. Bravo's latest creative competition entry, "Step It Up & Dance" continues to perform, with double digit growth in its time period versus second quarter 2007, increasing by 95 percent in adults 18-49 and 68 percent in total viewers.
Bravo Digital also recorded an impressive May with page views on BravoTV.com reaching 38.1 million, up 68 percent versus 22.7 million in 2007, monthly uniques and video streams both reached 1.4 million, pacing 33 percent and 55 percent respectively over the same time period last year. Versus April 2008, TelevisionWithoutPity garnered a remarkable 39.3 million page views, with monthly uniques up 14 percent reaching one million, and explosive 79 percent growth in video streams to reach 125,390.
