Top Chef: Chicago and "Work Out" Deliver Record Ratings and Double Digit Growth

With Over One Million Viewers, A Special Episode of "The Real Housewives of New York City" Marks Triple Digit Growth In Its Time Period

NEW YORK � May 28, 2008 � Coming off its highest rated May ever in primetime, Bravo continues to deliver record ratings, with impressive record-breaking numbers this week for its franchise series � "Top Chef," the No. 1 food show on cable, "The Real Housewives of New York City" and "Work Out."

Last night's twelfth episode of "Top Chef: Chicago" ranked as the No. 2 cable entertainment telecast for the day among adults 18-49 and the No. 1 cable telecast for the day among women 18-49. Season to season, the show is up 28 percent among adults 18-49 (1.998 million vs.1.557 million) and up 20 percent among total viewers (2.690 million vs. 2.238 million). "Top Chef: Chicago," enjoying its highest rated season to date through twelve episodes, is averaging 2.102 million viewers adults 18-49 and 2.928 million total viewers.

A record-breaking 755,000 adults 18-49 and 927,000 total viewers tuned in Tuesday night to Bravo's "Work Out," making the episode the highest ever in the 18-49 demo and the third highest ever among total viewers. The episode increased from the previous week by 18 percent among adults 18-49 (755,000 vs. 639,000) and 19 percent among total viewers (927,000 vs. 781,000).

Tuesday's airing of "The Real Housewives of New York City: The Lost Footage" delivered an impressive 820,000 adults 18-49 and 1,063,000 total viewers, giving fans an extra dose of drama with extended footage of their favorite fights, funny moments and additional insight into the women's home lives. The episode was up 219 percent among adults 18-49 (820,000 vs. 257,000) and up 234 percent among total viewers (1,063,000 vs. 318,000) versus the prior four-week time period.

It's down to the final four on next week's episode of "Top Chef: Chicago," airing Wednesday, June 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, where the four remaining chefs travel to Puerto Rico to compete in the finale and for the final three spots. Local chef Wilo Benet, known for making gourmet Puerto Rican cuisine, guest judges.
