CBS Places First on Thursday

The Premiere of "Harper's Island," a 13-Week Mystery Event, Wins Its Time Period in Viewers

"Harper's Island" Is CBS.com's Biggest Online Premiere Ever

CBS placed first on Thursday in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 (tie), led by CSI, the night's Number One program, SURVIVOR: TOCANTINS and the premiere of HARPER'S ISLAND, a 13-week mystery event, which won its time period in viewers, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Thursday, April 9.

CSI was first in households (9.9/16), viewers (16.36m), adults 25-54 (5.2/13) and adults 18-49 (3.7/10). Compared to last week, CSI was up +9% in households (from 9.1/14), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 5.0/11) and added +1.73m viewers (from 14.63m, +12%).

SURVIVOR was first in households (6.7/12), viewers (11.32m), adults 25-54 (4.4/12) and adults 18-49 (3.5/11).

HARPER'S ISLAND (P) was first in households (6.7/12), viewers (10.49m), second in both adults 25-54 (3.5/09) and adults 18-49 (2.7/08). Compared to last week's ELEVENTH HOUR season finale, HARPER'S ISLAND was up +9% in adults 25-54 (from 3.2/09), +8% in adults 18-49 (from 2.5/07) and added +120,000 viewers (from 10.37m, +1%).

HARPER�S ISLAND was CBS.com�s biggest online premiere ever with more pages viewed on the day of broadcast than any previous program. Traffic to CBS.com/harpers saw a +460% increase on the day of the broadcast over the prior day, as people logged on to learn more about the cast, watch videos clips, post to the fan forums and cast their votes for who will be the next victim in the �Pick the Victim Game� on CBS.com.

For the night, CBS was first in households (7.8/13), viewers (12.72m), adults 25-54 (4.4/12) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.3/10, with NBC).
