CBS.COM LEADS ALL NETWORK WEBSITES IN UNIQUE VIEWERS, STREAMS AND MINUTES

CBS.com Is Number One Network Website; Holds Top Spot in comScore Entertainment Television Category

CBS Interactive Becomes 5th Largest Video Property

SAN FRANCISCO, April 28 - CBS.com today reported that it is the fastest-growing network web site with 28 million unique viewers, 149 million streams and 571 million minutes, holding its position as the number one broadcast network site. CBS.com also ranked number one in comScore's Entertainment TV subcategory, and continues to set new records across all metrics, with triple-digit increases year-over-year in unique viewers (478%), streams (291%) and total minutes streaming (401%) year-over-year.

Additionally, CBS Interactive also announced today that it broke into the top 5 largest video properties in March in terms of video viewers according to comScore Video Metrix.

CBS.com's leadership position among its network peers mirrors the success at CBS Television, which is the most-watched network in prime time, as well as the only broadcast network to increase its audience this season in all key ratings categories.

During the month of March, viewers turned to CBS.com for information around hit shows like THE AMAZING RACE, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, NCIS and LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, extended content such as games and webisodes around shows like SURVIVOR: TOCANTIS and GHOST WHISPERER, as well as to view original webisodes such as Heckle U. CBS.com's growth is also driven by the success of its open, multi-partner syndication strategy, which includes more than 300 partner Web sites that stream CBS.com content through the CBS Audience Network.

"CBS.com creates online content that is highly complementary to television. By extending the television experience through games and contests for the network's most popular shows and events, we continue to see the site build momentum throughout the season," said Bill Binenstock, Vice President, CBS.com. "We are also seeing growth as a result of our strategy to bring our content to where the fans are, though our open, multi-partner syndication model, as well as through hundreds of CBS Audience Network partners."

CBS.com continues to enhance and improve its site experience. Recently, it unveiled a new home page design that makes it easier for visitors to find and watch their favorite shows, interact with other fans, and share their favorite video clips and episodes with their social network. The site also recently added Facebook Connect support, which lets users quickly and easily log into CBS.com using their already established Facebook account and publish their actions on CBS.com back to Facebook, enabling them to share their CBS.com experiences with their entire social network.

About CBS Audience Network

With CBS.com serving as its hub, the CBS Audience Network has more than 300 partners including TV.com, AOL, Microsoft, Yahoo, Comcast, Joost, Bebo, Netvibes, Sling Media, Veoh, IMDb.com, TVGuide.com, and Slide, as well as Web sites from CBS's owned television, radio and affiliated stations. The growing slate of CBS entertainment, news and sports content available includes a roster of full episodes, clips and highlights based on CBS and Showtime programming as well as original made-for-the-web content from EyeLab, a programming unit that produces and distributes short form video to the CBS Audience Network. All content is ad supported and free to consumers.
