"Big Brother" Finale Matches Its Best Deliveries of the Summer in Adults 18-34 and Adults 25-54

"Big Brother" Concludes Its 11th Edition with Gains Over Last Summer and On Each of Its Three Weekly Broadcasts

Last night's two-hour season finale of BIG BROTHER 11, in which Jordan was named winner of the $500,000 grand prize, outrated last summer's finale in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Tuesday, Sept. 15.

BIG BROTHER 11 TUESDAY finale was second in households (4.9/08), viewers (7.90m), adults 25-54 (3.4/08), adults 18-49 (2.8/08) and adults 18-34 (2.4/06) from 9:00-11:00PM.

Compared to the one-hour BIG BROTHER 10 finale on the same night last year, BIG BROTHER 11 TUESDAY was up +6% in adults 25-54 (from 3.2/07), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.7/07), +14% in adults 18-34 (from 2.1/06) and added +320,000 viewers (from 7.58m, +4%). This matches BIG BROTHER 11's best delivery on any night in households, adults 25-54 and adults 18-34, is the second best delivery in both viewers and adults 18-49.

Compared to last summer's edition (through Sunday), BIG BROTHER 11 was up +7% in viewers (7.15m from 6.68m), +5% in adults 18-34 (2.0/07 from 1/9/06). +3% in adults 25-54 (3.1/08 from 3.0/08) and even in adults 18-49 (2.5/08).

Each of the three weekly broadcasts also posted summer-to-summer increases

�BIG BROTHER 11 TUESDAY (excluding finales): up +7% in viewers (7.33m from 6.83m), +4% in adults 18-49 (2.7/07 from 2.6/07), +10% in adults 18-34 (2.2/07 from 2.0/06) and +3% in adults 25-54 (3.2/08 from 3.1/08).

�BIG BROTHER 11 THURSDAY: up +7% in viewers (7.11m from 6.72m), +4% in adults 18-49 (2.5/08 from 2.4/08), +11% in adults 18-34 (2.0/08 from 1.8/07) and even in adults 25-54 (3.0/08).

�BIG BROTHER 11 SUNDAY: up +8% in viewers (7.03m from 6.52m), +6% in adults 18-34 (1.9/07 from 1.8/06), +3% in adults 25-54 (3.0/08 from 2.9/07) and even in adults 18-49 (2.4/07).

Last night's two-hour season finale of BIG BROTHER 11, in which Jordan was named winner of the $500,000 grand prize, outrated last summer's finale in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen updated live plus same day ratings for Tuesday, Sept. 15.

BIG BROTHER 11 TUESDAY finale was second in households (4.8/08), viewers (7.78m), adults 25-54 (3.4/08), adults 18-49 (2.8/08) and adults 18-34 (2.4/07) from 9:01-11:00PM.

Compared to the one-hour BIG BROTHER 10 finale on the same night last year, BIG BROTHER 11 TUESDAY was up +6% in adults 25-54 (from 3.2/07), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.7/07), +14% in adults 18-34 (from 2.1/06) and added +200,000 viewers (from 7.58m, +3%). This matches BIG BROTHER 11's best delivery on any night in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-34, is the second best delivery in adults 18-49.

From 10:30-11:00 PM, BIG BROTHER 11 TUESDAY finished ahead of NBC's "The Jay Leno Show" for first place in adults 18-34 (2.5/08 vs. 2.4/08, +4%) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.0/09, each).

Compared to last summer's edition, BIG BROTHER 11 was up +7% in viewers (7.19m from 6.72m), +5% in adults 18-34 (2.0/07 from 1/9/06). +3% in adults 25-54 (3.1/08 from 3.0/08) and even in adults 18-49 (2.5/08).

�BIG BROTHER 11 TUESDAY: up +7% in viewers (7.41m from 6.93m), +4% in adults 18-49 (2.7/07 from 2.6/07), +10% in adults 18-34 (2.2/07 from 2.0/06) and +3% in adults 25-54 (3.2/08 from 3.1/08).

�BIG BROTHER 11 THURSDAY: up +7% in viewers (7.11m from 6.72m), +4% in adults 18-49 (2.5/08 from 2.4/08), +11% in adults 18-34 (2.0/08 from 1.8/07) and even in adults 25-54 (3.0/09).

�BIG BROTHER 11 SUNDAY: up +8% in viewers (7.03m from 6.52m), +6% in adults 18-34 (1.9/07 from 1.8/06), +3% in adults 25-54 (3.0/08 from 2.9/07) and even in adults 18-49 (2.4/07).

BIG BROTHER also had its biggest season ever online, delivering 100 million page views, and streaming 15.3 million videos on CBS.com, TV.com, and across CBS Network as well as mobile platforms. Fans placed more than 24 million votes this season, including over 11 million votes for the 7th Juror.
