FOX Had 4 of the Top 20 Programs Among Adults 18-49

NATIONAL NIELSEN RATINGS FOR THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 15 - 21, 2010

A gold medal performance from Tuesday's AMERICAN IDOL and double-digit growth from Sunday's animated originals of THE SIMPSONS, THE CLEVELAND SHOW, and AMERICAN DAD contributed to FOX's weekly rating of 3.2/9 among Adults 18-49. In addition, Tuesday's AMERICAN IDOL ranked as the No. 1 program of the week besting all Olympics telecasts among Adults 18-49. Despite tough competition this season from such major events as the Olympics and the Super Bowl, FOX remains the No. 1 network of the season and leads its closest competitor (CBS) by +12%.

AMERICAN IDOL dominated the night on Tuesday, achieving an impressive 9.2/23 among Adults 18-49. FOX won the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos.

AMERICAN IDOL significantly outperformed its nearest competitor by advantages of +67% among Adults 18-49, +100% among Adults 18-34, +144% among Teens and +17% in Total Viewers.

Despite airing against the Olympics, AMERICAN IDOL retained 99% of its ratings among Adults 18-49 from the same Hollywood Week episode last year on 2/10/09, as well as 99% among Adults 18-34 and 96% in Total Viewers.

On Sunday night original episodes of animated favorites THE SIMPSONS, THE CLEVELAND SHOW, and AMERICAN DAD grew significantly over their previous week's performances.

At 8p THE SIMPSONS posted a 2.9/8 among Adults 18-49, marking a +12% increase over the previous week.

THE CLEVELAND SHOW in the 8:30p timeslot delivered a 2.8/7 among Adults 18-49, gaining +17% over the previous week.

At 9:30p AMERICAN DAD achieved a 2.8/6 among Adults 18-49, up +12% versus the previous week.
