FOX Hits the Target with Strong Weekly Win

NATIONAL NIELSEN RATINGS FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 29 - APRIL 4, 2010

FOX HITS THE TARGET WITH STRONG WEEKLY WIN

Significant gains by HUMAN TARGET, strong returns for BONES and FRINGE and two solid nights of AMERICAN IDOL led FOX to a weekly win with a 2.9/9 among Adults 18-49, beating the next-highest rated network by +12%. FOX remains this season's No. 1 network, showing an advantage of +12% in the adult demo over the next highest rated broadcast network.

Tuesday's AMERICAN IDOL Top 10 performance show posted a 7.7/21 among Adults 18-49 and dominated the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos. FOX beat its nearest competitor on Tuesday by +133% among Adults 18-49, +126% among Adults 18-34, +262% among Teens and +108% in Total Viewers.

The following night, HUMAN TARGET at 8p delivered a 2.3/8 among Adults 18-49 and showed impressive growth over last week, increasing +15% among Adults 18-49, +15% among Adults 18-34 and +21% in Total Viewers. HUMAN TARGET placed No. 1 in its hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, Women 18-49/25-54 and all key male demos.

At 9p on Wednesday, the Top 10 Results on AMERICAN IDOL posted a 6.7/19 among Adults 18-49 and won its hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos. AMERICAN IDOL outperformed its nearest competitors in the 9p hour by +103% among Adults 18-49, +89% among Adults 18-34, +309% among Teens and +156% in Total Viewers. So far this season, AMERICAN IDOL's average is on par with the same weeks last year with Most Current ratings vs. comparable Most Current, showing 94% retention among Adults 18-49, 94% among Adults 18-34, 97% among Teens and 95% in Total Viewers.

Thursday's returns of BONES and FRINGE held up well compared to the rest of broadcast that night, leading FOX to rank No. 3 for the night among Adults 18-49, No. 2 in Adults 18-34 and Teens and No. 1 in Men 18-34. At 8p BONES posted a 2.4/8 among Adults 18-49 and ranked No. 2 in the hour among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, No. 3 in Teens and No. 1 in Men 18-34. In head to head competition in the 8p hour, BONES outperformed ABC's Flash Forward by +60% among Adults 18-49. FRINGE at 9p delivered a 2.2/7 among Adults 18-49 and ranked No. 3 in the hour among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.
