ESPN's "Monday Night Football" Wins the Night among All Key Male and Adult Demos

Last night, ESPN's Monday Night Football - a 27-21 Pittsburgh Steelers road victory over the Cincinnati Bengals - earned a 10.6 household coverage rating (9.2 US rating), representing an average of 10,611,000 households (15,016,000 viewers - P2+), according to Nielsen.

MNF led all programs (broadcast or cable) in all key male and adult demos, helping ESPN win the night among all networks in those same categories.

Through the first nine weeks (10 games), ESPN's MNF is averaging a 10.6 household rating, 10,609,000 households (14,665,000 viewers), comparable in all measurements versus 2009. ESPN MNF games rank as the 10 biggest audiences among households and the eight biggest among total viewers for cable television in 2010 (including the 2009 MNF season finale - Minnesota vs. Chicago, 12/28/09 - which falls within the Nielsen 2010 calendar). The Steelers-Bengals game ranks as cable's sixth most-viewed program of the year among viewers and seventh most-viewed among households.

ESPN.com had more than 226 million page views (a 21 percent increase) and 304 million minutes (a 38 percent gain) generated with NFL content on Sunday and Monday. ESPN's Mobile web site had nearly 67 million page views (a 55 percent increase) and more than 106 million minutes (up 69 percent), spent with NFL content on the ESPN mobile web site and ScoreCenter App.

ESPN's MNF continues next week (Nov. 15) with Donovan McNabb and the Washington Redskins hosting Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles at 8:30 p.m. ET. ESPN's game around the game coverage begins at 3:30 p.m. with NFL Live and continues throughout the afternoon.
