UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - November 18, 2010 - NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" has averaged a 0.9 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers overall for the week of November 8-12, giving "Tonight" a tie with CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" in adult 18-49 rating and wins over "Late Show" and ABC's combination of "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in adult 18-49 viewers, total viewers and other key categories. "Tonight" reversed the order for the same week last year, when "Late Show" delivered bigger audiences in 18-49 and total viewers.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" out-delivered CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in adult 18-49 viewers for a 38th straight week (excluding the week of delays for Wimbledon coverage). Jimmy also delivered bigger audiences than "Late Late Show" in adults, men and women 18-34; men and women 18-49; and men 25-54.

Versus the same week last year, "Tonight" grew by 63 percent in total viewers (3.7 million vs. 2.3 million) and out-delivered "Late Show" by a narrow margin after "Late Show" prevailed by an 81 percent margin one year ago (4.1 million vs. 2.3 million).

Through the first eight weeks of the 2010-11 season, "Tonight" is leading "Late Show" by 3 percent in adult 18-49 viewers (1.232 million vs. 1.197 million), reversing the order at this point one year ago, when "Late Show" held a 3 percent lead (1.374 million vs. 1.330 million). In total viewers, "Tonight" leads "Late Show" through eight weeks of the season by a 2 percent margin (3.691 million vs. 3.620 million), reversing the order of one year ago, when "Late Show" led by a 73 percent advantage (4.294 million vs. 2.482 million).

Through the first eight weeks of the 2010-11 season, Jimmy Fallon is leading "Late Late Show" by a 12 percent margin in adult 18-49 viewers (770,000 vs. 685,000), building on his lead of one year ago that stood at 1 percent (798,000 vs. 788,000). In total viewers, Jimmy has cut the year-ago "Late Late Show" lead down to 5 percent (1.777 million vs. 1.691 million) from its year-ago 41 percent (1.945 million vs. 1.382 million).

Versus the first eight weeks of last season, "Tonight" is running within 7 percent of its year-ago 18-49 viewership (1.232 million vs. 1.330 million), while "Late Show" is down 13 percent (1.197 million vs. 1.374 million). At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon is matching his year-ago 0.6 rating in adults 18-49 and running within 4 percent of last year in 18-49 viewers (770,000 vs. 798,000), while "Late Late Show" is down 13 percent (685,000 vs. 788,000).

In total viewers, "Tonight" is up 49 percent versus its average viewership for the first eight weeks of last season (3.691 million vs. 2.482 million), while "Late Show" is down 16 percent (3.620 million vs. 4.294 million). At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon is up 22 percent versus his year-ago pace in total viewers (1.691 million vs. 1.382 million), while "Late Late Show" is down 9 percent (1.777 million vs. 1.945 million).

For the week at 1:35 a.m. ET, "Last Call with Carson Daly" (0.4 rating in 18-49, 0.3 in 18-34) finished within a tenth of a rating point of "Late Late Show" in adult 18-49 rating and tied "Late Late Show" in adult 18-34 rating despite starting an hour later than the CBS broadcast.

Versus the same week last year, "Last Call" was up 9 percent in 18-49 viewers (481,000 vs. 442,000) and up 23 percent in total viewers (985,000 vs. 800,000). Through the first eight weeks of the season, "Last Call" is up by 7 percent in 18-49 viewers (478,000 vs. 447,000) and up 21 percent in total viewers (963,000 vs. 793,000).
