FOX MOVES INTO FIRST PLACE, ACHIEVES ITS MOST-WATCHED NIGHT EVER

Airing SUPER BOWL XLV and a special original episode of GLEE last night, FOX achieved its highest rated night ever among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers, and became the first network ever to exceed 100 million viewers (100.9 million) for a night in prime time.
FOX now ranks No. 1 for the season, up four-tenths over its nearest competitor among Adults 18-49 (3.4 vs. 3.0 for CBS).
Following SUPER BOWL XLV, FOX aired a special episode of GLEE from 10:39-11:45p and posted an 11.1 rating among Adults 18-49 with 26.8 Mil Total Viewers. Last night's episode is GLEE's highest rated ever and is the highest rated scripted series telecast on any network in three years among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers (since HOUSE post-Super Bowl on 2/3/08).
GLEE outperformed the most recent scripted program to air post-Super Bowl, NBC's The Office on 2/1/09 among Adults 18-49 (+1%, 11.1 vs. 11.0) and Total Viewers (+17%, 26.8 vs. 22.9 Mil), and beat itsown prior season average with originals by +131% among Adults 18-49 (11.1 vs. 4.8) and +131% in Total Viewers (26.8 vs. 11.6 Mil.)
