FOX Wins Final Week of Broadcast Season, Kicks Off Summer With Most-Watched "So You Think You Can Dance" Premiere in Four Years

FOX WINS FINAL WEEK OF BROADCAST SEASON, KICKS OFF SUMMER WITH MOST-WATCHED SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE PREMIERE IN FOUR YEARS

FOX dominated the final week of the 2010-11 broadcast season by +83% thanks to strong season finales of HOUSE, AMERICAN IDOL and GLEE, and launched its summer season with the most-watched premiere of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE in four years. Key highlights from last week include:

· On Monday, the season finales of HOUSE and THE CHICAGO CODE delivered FOX's most-watched Monday night in over two months (since 3/14/11).

· The season finale of HOUSE posted a 3.4/10 among Adults 18-49 and was the #1 program of the night in Men 18-49/18-34.

· At 9p THE CHICAGO CODE finale delivered a 2.0/5, up +11% vs. the penultimate telecast (1.8/5).

· FOX won Tuesday night across all key demos and outperformed its nearest competitor for the night by +42% among Adults 18-49 (5.4 vs. 3.8 for ABC).

· The special Tuesday night performance finale episode of AMERICAN IDOL drew a 6.4/19 among Adults 18-49 and outperformed its nearest competitor in the 8p hour by +129% in Adults 18-49 (6.4 vs. 2.8 for NBC's Biggest Loser) and +98% in Total Viewers (20.6 vs. 10.4 Mil for ABC's DWTS repeat).

· The season two finale of GLEE posted a 4.6/11 among Adults 18-49, and earned its highest rating ever in Teens for a regular telecast (5.6/19)

· GLEE beat the first hour of the Dancing With The Stars results finale in head to head competition by +7% in Adults 18-49 (4.6/11 vs. 4.3/11).

· On Wednesday, the AMERICAN IDOL SEASON 10 FINALE posted a 9.2/26 among Adults 18-49 and grew +12% in Adults 18-49, +21% in Total Viewers and +61% in Teens vs. last year's finale.

· This is the first time in five years that AMERICAN IDOL has shown year to year growth for the finale in Adults 18-49 (since 5/24/06).

· The AMERICAN IDOL finale was the most watched program of the season among Total Viewers (excluding sports and the Academy Awards).

· AMERICAN IDOL's finale beat Tuesday's Dancing With The Stars finale by +37% in Total Viewers and +100% in Adults 18-49.

The special Tuesday night performance finale episode of AMERICAN IDOL posted a 6.4/19 among Adults 18-49 and was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, followed by GLEE as the second-highest rated program of the night in these demos.

In the 8p hour AMERICAN IDOL outperformed its nearest competitor by +129% in Adults 18-49 (6.4 vs. 2.8 for NBC's Biggest Loser) and +98% in Total Viewers (20.6 vs. 10.4 Mil for ABC's DWTS (R)).

Tuesday's AMERICAN IDOL retained 96% of the comparable telecast last year in Adults 18-49 (6.4/19 vs. 6.7/20, Top 2 on 5/25/10), gained +2% in Total Viewers (20.6 vs. 20.1 Mil) and +22% in Teens (5.5/22 vs. 4.5/17).

The season finale of GLEE posted a 4.6/11 among Adults 18-49, its highest since 3/8/11. GLEE also earned its highest Total Viewers of since 3/8/11.

With a 5.6/19 in Teens, GLEE posted its highest rating ever in this demo (excluding the post-Super Bowl episode on 2/6/11) and outperformed its previous high by +14% (4.9/16 on 11/30/10).

GLEE was the highest rated program of the night in Teens and #2 behind only AMERICAN IDOL in Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

The AMERICAN IDOL 10 FINALE posted a 9.2/26 among Adults 18-49 and grew +12% vs. last year's finale in Adults 18-49 (9.2 vs. 8.2 on 5/26/10), +21% in Total Viewers (29.3 vs. 24.2 Mil) and +61% in Teens (7.4 vs. 4.6).

This is the first time in five years that AMERICAN IDOL has shown year to year growth for the finale in Adults 18-49 (since 5/24/06) and in three years in Total Viewers (since 5/21/08).

AMERICAN IDOL delivered its most watched telecast of the season among Total Viewers and its highest in four months among Adults 18-49 (since 1/26/11).

AMERICAN IDOL posted its most watched telecast in Total Viewers in over 16 months (since last season's premiere on 1/12/10).

For the 10/11 season with Comparable Most Current ratings AMERICAN IDOL retains 95% of last year's same telecasts in A18-49 (8.3/23 vs. 8.7/23) and is up +5% in Total Viewers (25.0 vs. 23.9 Mil.)

FOX won the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos and outperformed the combined 4-net competition for the night by +74% in Adults 18-49 (9.2 vs. 5.3 for ABC/CBS/NBC/CW) and +69% in Total Viewers (29.3 vs. 17.3 Mil.) FOX also beat its nearest competitor for the night by +300% in Adults 18-49 (9.2 vs. 2.3 for ABC) and +365% in Total Viewers (29.3 vs. ABC and CBS 6.3 Mil. each)

FOX delivered the highest rated night of the season among Total Viewers (excluding nights with sports and the Academy Awards).
