TLC KICKS OFF SUMMER SCHEDULE WITH WEEK OF RED HOT RATINGS
TLC's Summer debut week (5/30-6/5) celebrates record ratings with 10 series and specials averaging 1M or more P2+ viewers, ranking the network in the top 3 in Prime among W25-54, W18-49 and #4 among W18-34 in all ad supported cable. Additionally, the week ranked in the top 10 overall in Prime among W25-54 each night of the week in ad supported cable.
Leading the week was a special one-hour episode of the hit series Sister Wives (Sun, 9 p.m. ET/PT), averaging 2.8M P2+ viewers and garnering a 2.2 HH rating, earning the #2 spot in ad supported cable in Prime among W25-54 and driving TLC on Sunday Prime to the #3 network in all ad-supported cable among W18-34 and #4 among W25-54, W18-49.
On Friday, TLC was the #1 ad-supported cable network in Prime among W18-49, W18-34 and had the top 3 programs among W18-49, thanks to a double-stacked premiere of Say Yes to the Dress: Big Bliss (Fri, 9 and 9:30 p.m. ET/PT) ringing in 1.3M P2+ viewers and the much anticipated series premiere of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding (Fri, 10 p.m. ET/PT) drawing 1.4M P2+ viewers.
Other strong performers for Summer premiere week include Cake Boss (Mon, 9 p.m ET/PT) with 1.8M P2+ viewers, Extreme Couponing (Wed, 9:30 p.m. ET/PT) with 1.7M P2+ viewers, Niecy Nash's Wedding Bash (Sat, 8-10 p.m. ET/PT) with 1.4M P2+ viewers, NY Ink (Thurs, 10 p.m. ET/PT) with 1.4M P2+ viewers, The Little Couple (Tues, 10 and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT) with 1.2M P2+, Police Women of Broward County (Thurs, 9 p.m. ET/PT) with 1.1M P2+ viewers and Freaky Eaters (Sun, 10 and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT) with 1.0M P2+ viewers.
