Strong Holiday Week Driven by Triple-Digit Gains for July 4th "Transformers Prime" Programming Event and Strong performance of World TV Premiere Feature Film "Free Willy: Escape from Pirate's Cove"
Los Angeles - For the week of July 4-10, the momentum of audience growth continued for the Hub TV Network with its new summer schedule versus its pre-summer schedule among the key target demographics of Kids 6-11 and Kids 2-11. The new lineup also continued its solid performance among the demographics of Adults 18-49, Women 18-49, Persons 2+ and Households.
Also for the week of July 4, The Hub, a television destination for kids and their families, showed continued growth versus year-to-date led by strong performances of the network's July 4th special "Trans4th of July" programming event featuring alternating episodes of "Transformers Prime" and "Transformers Generation 1" 7-hour marathon, and the World Television Premiere of the popular feature film "Free Willy: Escape from Pirate's Cove." The Hub delivered significant gains among the key target demographics of Kids 6-11, Kids 2-11, Adults 18-49, Women 18-49, Person 2+ and Households.

In Kids Total Day (Mon-Thurs, 6A-8P; Fri, Sat, Sun 6A-11P), The Hub's summer schedule has earned widespread delivery increases over the pre-summer schedule, including gains with Kids 2-11 (+26%, 44,000), Kids 6-11 (+37%, 26,000), Women 18-49 (+27%, 14,000), Adults 18-49 (+27%, 28,000), Persons 2+ (+23%, 87,000) and Households (+20%, 59,000).
The Hub's Summer Saturday "Crack Up" block of programming (6A-10A), has earned widespread delivery increases over the pre-summer schedule time period , including gains with Kids 2-11 (+68%, 67,000), Kids 6-11 (+50%, 33,000), Persons 2+ (+32%, 104,000) and Households (+32%, 70,000).
In Saturday Kids Total Day (Sat 6A-11P), The Hub's summer schedule has earned widespread delivery increases over the pre-summer schedule, including gains with Kids 2-11 (+12%, 57,000), Kids 6-11 (+10%, 34,000), Women 18-49 (+18%, 20,000), Adults 18-49 (+8%, 39,000), Persons 2+ (+7%, 119,000) and Households (+9%, 82,000).
In Total Day (Mon-Sun, 6A-6A), The Hub's summer schedule has earned widespread delivery increases over the pre-summer schedule, including gains with Kids 2-11 (+22%, 33,000), Kids 6-11 (+33%, 20,000), Women 18-49 (+15%, 15,000), Adults 18-49 (+11%, 30,000), Persons 2+ (+11%, 78,000) and Households (+10%, 55,000).

For the week, in Total Day (Mon-Sun, 6A-6A), The Hub earned year-to-date widespread delivery increases among Kids 6-11 (+25%, 20,000), Kids 2-11 (+11%, 31,000), Women 18-49 (+7%, 15,000), Adults 18-49 (+11%, 31,000), Persons 2+ (+8%, 78,000) and Households (+10%, 56,000).
For the week in Kids Total Day (Mon-Thurs, 6A-8P; Fri, Sat, Sun 6A-11P), The Hub earned widespread year-to-date delivery increases among Kids 6-11 (+20%, 24,000), Kids 2-11 (+8%, 40,000), Adults 18-49 (+13%, 26,000), Persons 2+ (+11%, 82,000) and Households (+12%, 57,000).
Weekly Programming Highlights (Week of July 4, 2011)
The July 4, seven hour (1P-8P) stunt of alternating episodes of "Transformers Prime" and "Transformers Generation 1" delivered triple-digit gains over the time period's year-to-date average among Kids 6-11 (+220%, 64,000) , Kids 2-11 (+149%, 97,000) and Adults 18-49 (+311%, 78,000). It also posted triple-digit improvement over the prior week in the same demos. The strong performance marked The Hub's strongest deliveries in 2011 in the Monday, 1P-8P daypart among Kids 6-11, Kids 2-11, and Adults 18-49.
Friday's world television premiere of the feature film Free Willy: Escape from Pirate's Cove (8P-10:30P) improved the time period versus the prior week among Kids 6-11 (+23%, 59,000) and Adults 18-49 (+5%, 91,000). In addition, the movie improved on the time period's year-to-date average among Kids 6-11 (+18%, 59,000) and Adults 18-49 (+86%, 91,000).
