"NCIS," "NCIS: LOS ANGELES" AND "UNFORGETTABLE" ALL SWEEP THEIR TIME PERIODS IN VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOGRAPHICS
"NCIS" Leads Tuesday in Viewers and Adults 18-49
NCIS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES and UNFORGETTABLE all swept their time periods in viewers and key demographics leading CBS to a nightly win in these measures, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Tuesday, Nov. 1.
NCIS was first in households (12.1/19), viewers (19.38m), adults 25-54 (5.5/14) and adults 18-49 (3.9/11) for the seventh consecutive week. NCIS was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. First-run episodes of NCIS beat first-run episodes of "Glee" every week this season in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. If the ratings hold, NCIS will beat "Glee" by its largest margin to date in households (+7.5), viewers (+11.95m), adults 25-54 (+2.6) and adults 18-49 (+1.0).
NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in viewers (15.59m), adults 25-54 (4.8/11) and adults 18-49 (3.4/09).
UNFORGETTABLE was first in households (7.3/12), viewers (11.27m), adults 25-54 (3.2/08) and adults 18-49 (2.3/06). UNFORGETTABLE won the 10:00-11:00 PM time slot in households, viewers and adults 25-54 for the seventh consecutive week, first in adults 18-49 for the sixth time in seven weeks.
For the night, CBS was first in households (9.7/15), viewers (15.41m), adults 25-54 (4.5/11) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09). All three CBS dramas won their time periods in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. CBS won every Tuesday this season in viewers.
Updated Tuesday ratings will be available this afternoon.
Note: DVR penetration is at 42%, up from 38% last year. Last fall, Live+7 audiences for original entertainment series on CBS gained over 1.8 million viewers, on average, over Live+ Same Day ratings, more than any other network. This season, we expect DVR penetration to continue to increase and, as a result, we expect DVR playback audiences to grow as well.
