New York, January 9, 2012 - HISTORY's primetime line-up on Sunday, January 8 from 9-11pm produced stellar ratings for the network.
At 9pm, HISTORY's acclaimed logging series, AX MEN earned 2.9 million total viewers, 1.6 million Adults 25-54 and 1.5 million Adults 18-49. The season 5 debut now ranks as the most watched season premiere for the series since season one, and was up +33% vs. the season four premiere among Adults 25-54 (1.2 million).
The series premiere of CAJUN PAWN STARS followed at 10pm and earned 3.6 million total viewers, 2.0 million Adults 25-54 and 1.8 million Adults 18-49, through two consecutive 30 minutes episodes.
