(Silver Spring, MD) - On Wednesday, January 25, the world premiere of Investigation Discovery's series DARK MINDS at 10 PM became the network's highest Prime telecast ever for Women 18-49 (382k) delivery, and was also ID's highest night ever in Prime delivery for Women 18-49 (306k). Overall, the series garnered 2.75 million unique P2+ viewers, delivering a 1.05 Household rating in primetime and a 1.07 Household rating in late night. For the timeslot among ad-supported cable in key demos, DARK MINDS ranked #9 for Women 25-54 delivery (394k) and the night in Prime ranked #11 for Women 25-54 delivery (309k).*

Additionally, the lead into the premiere of DARK MINDS was the first installment of the mini-series ALASKA: ICE COLD KILLERS at 9 PM. The program delivered a 1.16 Household rating in late night with over 3.2 million unique P2+ viewers. Both programs have been added to Investigation Discovery's coveted "One Club," as since the beginning of 2011, 48 telecasts over 18 series on ID have achieved at or above a 1.0 Household rating.**

Investigation Discovery's DARK MINDS is a new series that pairs true crime author M. William Phelps and criminal profiler John Kelly to explore unsolved serial homicides using an unlikely source - a convicted serial killer serving multiple life sentences, known to audiences only as "13." Saturday's world premiere examined "The Valley Killer" who took seven female victims, and recounted the story of the only woman who survived the killer's grasp after being stabbed 27 times. Leading the night of killer programing was the premiere of the mini-series ALASKA: ICE COLD KILLERS. The one-hour program told the true story of serial killer Robert Hansen, who for decades kidnapped transient women and flew them out to his remote cabin, where he tortured them before releasing them into the harsh Alaskan wilderness only to hunt them down for sport.
