"THE BIG BANG THEORY" TOPS "AMERICAN IDOL" IN COMMON HALF-HOUR

THE BIG BANG THEORY topped "American Idol" in viewers, adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and adults 25-54 in the common 8:00-8:30 PM half-hour, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Thursday, Feb. 16.

THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in households (9.3/15), viewers (15.52m), adults 25-54 (6.6/17), adults 18-49 (5.0/15) and adults 18-34 (3.6/12). If ratings hold, THE BIG BANG THEORY will rank as the night's #1 program in adults 18-49 (tie).
