THE TWO-HOUR SEASON FINALE OF "THE AMAZING RACE" SPRINTS TO THE FINISH LINE WITH YEAR-TO-YEAR GAINS IN VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54 CBS Tops Sunday in Viewers for the 10th Consecutive Week and Also Places First in Adults 25-54 The two-hour season finale of THE AMAZING RACE, which saw married teammates Dave and Rachel Brown cross the finish line first in historic fashion after winning a record eight legs, posted year-to-year increases in viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Sunday, May 6. From 8:00-10:00 PM, THE AMAZING RACE 20 was first in viewers (9.39m) and adults 25-54 (3.7/09) and second in adults 18-49 (2.6/07) with its season finale. Compared to last May's finale of THE AMAZING RACE 18, THE AMAZING RACE 20 was up +9% in adults 25-54 (from 3.4/08), even in adults 18-49 and added +420,000 viewers (from 8.97m, +5%). For the night, CBS was first in households (5.7/09) and viewers (9.29m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.9/07, with ABC) and second in adults 18-49 (2.0/06).
