"60 MINUTES" MAKES THE TOP 10 FOR THE THIRD TIME IN FOUR WEEKS
And Is Sunday's Top-Rated Program
Once again, 60 MINUTES has made the Nielsen Top 10. The CBS newsmagazine drew 11.73 million viewers and posted a 7.6/14 household rating and share to land at #10 in both measures, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for May 6. 60 MINUTES was also Sunday's #1 program in those categories.
It is third time in four weeks that 60 MINUTES, the #1 news broadcast, finished the week among America's 10 most-watched primetime programs.
Sunday's broadcast featured Lesley Stahl's interview of two pilots turned military whistleblowers who voiced concerns about the nation's top fighter jet, the F-22, Byron Pitts' story of two young journalists who risked their lives to expose corruption and Anderson Cooper's interview with Olympic swimming star Michael Phelps.
CBS News Chairman Jeff Fager is the executive producer of 60 MINUTES.
