Propelled by the NBA Playoffs, TNT ranked as basic cable's #1 network in primetime among total viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. TNT also ranked as the #1 network in total day among adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

Since the start of the postseason, TNT in prime time has won the night vs. ad-supported cable seven times among P18-49 and six times among households.

Game 2 of the Boston/Atlanta series on May 1 was NBA TV's highest-rated telecast ever (0.6 U.S. HH rating).
TBS
The Big Bang Theory had another strong week on TBS, with the Tuesday 10 p.m. telecast scoring 3.5 million viewers to rank as basic cable's #1 sitcom telecast for the week. The telecast was also the top sitcom with adults 18-34 (902,000) and adults 18-49 (2 million). The Big Bang Theory accounted for 14 of the top 15 sitcom telecasts for the week among viewers and adults 18-49 and 10 of the top 15 sitcom telecasts for the week among adults 18-34.
CONAN was in encores last week, but in time-shifted viewing for the week of April 16, the show grew to 1.1 million viewers in Live+7 delivery, with 359,000 adults 18-34 and 650,000 adults 18-49.
ADULT SWIM
Across the first week of May 2012, Adult Swim ranked as basic cable's #1 network for Total Day Delivery of young adults 18-34 & 18-24, as well as men 18-34 & 18-24. The network also ranked #3 among basic cable networks for the week (behind TNT, FX) in Prime Time for delivery of adults 18-34.
Among its original programming, the Adult Swim series Robot Chicken (Sunday, 10 p.m.) earned double and triple-digit delivery gains among key young adults and young men. Versus the same time period last year, average delivery of adults 18-24 (339,000) increased by 125%, adults 18-34 (469,000) by 30% and men 18-24 (115,000) by 13%.
Adult Swim programming - including Family Guy, Robot Chicken and American Dad - accounted for 16 of the top 50 telecasts for the week on basic cable among adults 18-34 (more than any other network), and 16 of the top 50 among men 18-34.
truTV
truTV scored a strong week, ranking among cable's Top 10 entertainment networks in primetime delivery of men 18-49 (266,000) and men 18-34 (145,000). The network chalked up strong growth, as well, with adults 18-34 up 11% compared to the same week last year and men 18-34 up 19%. truTV's median age for the week - 39 - tied its youngest weekly median age ever.
Turning in especially strong performances were Hardcore Pawn, with 1.9 million viewers last Tuesday at 9:30 p.m.; South Beach Tow, with 1.4 million viewers Wednesday night at 9:30 p.m.; and the season finale of Impractical Jokers, with 1.5 million viewers Thursday at 10 p.m. All three series among cable's Top 5 entertainment programs in their timeslots and turned in double-digit time-period growth with key adult and male demos. In addition, Impractical Jokers drew a median age of only 30, the youngest ever for the series.
CARTOON NETWORK
Cartoon Network launched May 2012 by claiming television's #1 network for weekly delivery of boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14 in early prime (7-9 p.m.). Compared to the same time period last year, average kids 6-11 delivery (647,000) grew by 8% and kids 9-14 (498,000) by 23%. In Total Day (6 a.m.-9 p.m.), average delivery of kids 6-11 (333,000) increased by 3% and kids 9-14 (267,000) by 15%.
Continuing is year-to-date winning streak, Cartoon Network also scored as television's #1 network for all boys in early prime on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night, while also the #1 TV destination for kids 6-11 & 9-14 on Monday night. Among Cartoon Network's early prime highlights, Monday, Wednesday and Friday all grew delivery by mostly double digits across key kids and boys demos - ranging between 2% and 72% - vs. the same time period last year.
Original series Adventure Time (Monday, 7:30 p.m.) scored as the #1 telecast of the week among boys 6-11 & 9-14, and the #1 telecast of the day among kids 6-11 & 9-14, plus all boy demos - charting double and triple digit delivery gains across the board ranging between 31% and 133%. Tuesday night's presentations of The Amazing World of Gumball (7:30 p.m.), Level Up (8 p.m.) and an encore of Adventure Time (8:30 p.m.) each ranked #1 in their time periods among all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14. Wednesday night's episode of Ninjago (8 p.m.) scored as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 6-11 & 2-11, earning double-digit gains. And Friday night's telecast of Cartoon Planet (8 p.m.) was the #1 telecast of the day among boys 9-14, #1 in its time period among all boys, and grew overall kids delivery by 27% (kids 2-11), 105% (kids 6-11) and 104% (kids 9-14). And Saturday's DC Nation presentation of Green Lantern (10 a.m.) scored the highest delivery growth of the morning, charting 21% gains among kids 6-11, 13% among boys 2-11, and 18% among boys 6-11.
