RECORD NUMBER OF VIEWERS FLOCK TO SEASON FINALE OF A&E'S "DUCK DYNASTY" WITH 2.6 MILLION TOTAL VIEWERS
CABLE'S #1 ORIGINAL SHOW FOR THE NIGHT IN 25-54 AND 18-49
NEW YORK, NY - MAY 24, 2012 - Last night's season finale of A&E's newest hit series "Duck Dynasty" drew record ratings for the series with back-to-back episodes at 10PM and 10:30PM ET/PT. The 10:30PM episode of "Duck Dynasty" hit a series high of 2.6 million total viewers and 1.5 million in both adults 25-54 and 18-49 demos.
"Duck Dynasty" follows the Robertsons; a Louisiana bayou family living the American dream as they operate a thriving duck call and decoy business while staying true to their family values and lifestyle. The newly minted multimillionaire family is kept in line by business-savvy Willie, who runs Duck Commander with the help of his brother Jase, their respective wives Korie and Missy, patriarch and founder of the company, Phil, and uncle Si. Together they run a booming business that employs half their neighborhood, but at the end of the day, you can find the whole family around matriarch Miss Kay's dinner table.
