Friday Primetime Results (several local NFL preemptions on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox):
· Pending updates, at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" is currently averaging a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall. Pending updates, the "Talent" encore earned NBC's top non-sports results in the time period this summer.
· Pending updates, at 9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of Monday's season premiere of "Grimm" averaged a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 2.5 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, the "Grimm" encore grew by 17 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 0.7 rating from a 0.6), pending updates.
· Pending updates, at 10 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" is currently averaging a 1.2/4 in 18-49 and 5.1 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "Dateline" grew by 18 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating from a 1.1), by 20 percent in adults 25-54 (1.8 vs. 1.5) and by 21 percent in total viewers (5.6 million vs. 4.6 million).
· For its second half-hour from 10:30-11 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" tied for the #1 non-sports rating among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18- 25-54 (1.8 rating each).
In late-night metered-market households Friday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5 with an encore; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 3.0/7; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.7/3; "Late Show," 0.5/2 with an encore; "Nightline," 0.8/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2 with an encore.
· At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/2 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
Saturday Primetime Results:
· Pending updates, from 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" is currently averaging a 0.7/3 in 18-49 and 2.7 million viewers overall. Versus its prior Saturday rebroadcast in this time period on July 7, "Talent" is currently up by 0.2 of a point in 18-49 rating (to a 0.7 from a 0.5).
· Pending updates, from 9-11 p.m. ET, an encore of "Stars Earn Stripes" is currently delivering a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 2.6 million viewers overall. Excluding sports, this is currently the top NBC 18-49 rating in the time period so far this summer, pending updates.
In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday night:
· An encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live," with host Jason Segal and musical guest Florence + The Machine (2.5/6 in metered-market households), dominated its time period. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Saturday Night Live" averaged a 1.2 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49, making it the night's #1 program in the Local People Meters on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, ahead of all primetime telecasts on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.
