SYFY'S "GHOST HUNTERS" FALL PREMIERE MOST WATCHED SEASON DEBUT IN MORE THAN TWO YEARS
SOARS 23 PERCENT IN ADULTS 25-54 AND 17 PERCENT IN ADULTS 18-49
NEW YORK - September 6, 2012 - The fall premiere of Syfy's hit series Ghost Hunters was the paranormal series' most watched season premiere since August 2010.
Compared to the April 2012 season premiere, Ghost Hunters scared up increases of 23 percent among Adults 25-54 (1.1 million) and 17 percent among Adults 18-49 (861,000) during its telecast on Wednesday, September 6.
During its 9-10PM time period, Ghost Hunters was the #2 ranked show on cable among Adults 25-54 and #4 among Adults 18-49, propelling Syfy to #3 in cable entertainment networks prime among Adults 25-54 and #5 in Adults 18-49.
The September 6 telecast also marked the series' highest delivery in Women 25-54 (715,000) since October 2010.
Ghost Hunters is produced for Syfy by Craig Piligian's Pilgrim Studios (Dirty Jobs, The Ultimate Fighter, Top Shot). Piligian and Thomas Thayer, along with Mike Nichols and Alan David, serve as executive producers.
