Adult Swim
Adult Swim continued its streak as basic cable's #1 network for Total Day Delivery of young adults 18-34, 18-49 and 18-24 as well as men 18-34 & 18-24. Adult Swim also ranked #2 in Prime Time (Broadcast definition) delivery of adults 18-34 among basic cable networks, behind only MTV.
A new episode of Adult Swim's original series Black Dynamite (Sunday, 11:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among targeted adults 18-34, adults 18-24 and men 18-24. Compared to the same time period in 2011, men 18-24 delivery increased by 11% and men 18-49 increased by 5%.
The world television premiere of Robot Chicken: DC Comics Special (Sunday, 12 a.m.) also ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-24. Delivery of all targeted adults and male demos grew by double-digits vs. the time period last year - adults 18-34 grew by 50%, adults 18-24 by 58%, adults 18-49 by 80%, men 18-34 by 60%, men 18-24 by 58% and men 18-49 by 85%.
Adult Swim programming - including Family Guy, Robot Chicken and American Dad - accounted for 19 of the top 50 telecasts of the week on basic cable among adults 18-34, more than any other network.
Cartoon Network
Across the second week of September 2012, Cartoon Network ranked as basic cable's #1 network for Early Prime (7-9 p.m.) delivery of boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14.
Among its original animated programming, Monday night's presentation of Regular Show (8 p.m.) ranked as the #1 telecast of the week among boys 9-14, as well as #1 in its time period among kids 6-11, kids 9-14 and all boys. Similarly, a new episode of The Amazing World of Gumball (Tuesday, 7 p.m.) scored as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14. Immediately following, Dreamworks Dragons: Riders of Berk (7:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14, earning 16% delivery gains among kids 9-14 and 11% gains among boys 9-14 vs. the same time period last year.
Friday night's 7-9 p.m. line-up of Cartoon Network's newest series scored as the #1 destination on all TV among all boy demos, earning double and triple-digit delivery increases across the board - compared to the 2011 time period, kids 2-11 delivery grew by 39%, kids 6-11 by 34% and kids 9-14 by 52%. Both The Amazing World of Gumball (7 p.m.) and Ninjago (7:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in their time periods among all boys, while Dreamworks Dragons: Riders of Berk (8 p.m.) ranked #1 among boys 2-11 and 6-11., also earning double and triple-digit delivery growth across all demos.
TNT
TNT's chart-topping hit Major Crimes once again ranked as basic cable's #1 drama for the week, with last Monday's episode bringing in 5.9 million viewers in Live + Same Day. That's a +2% boost over the prior week's episode. In the demos, Major Crimes grew by +6% among adults 18-49 (1.3 million) and adults 25-54 (1.7 million).
TNT's mind-bending crime-drama Perception continues to turn in strong performances, ranking second behind Major Crimes among this week's top dramas on basic cable. Last Monday, the show grew its total audience by +6% over the prior week to 4.2 million viewers in Live + Same Day. The week-to-week growth was even more pronounced among key demos, with adults 18-49 rising by +11% to 1.0 million and adults 25-54 increasing by +18% to 1.3 million.
TNT's caper drama Leverage garnered 2.2 million viewers in Live + Same Day delivery Sunday night, including 756,000 adults 18-49 and 860,000 adults 25-54.

Time-shifted viewing data indicates millions of viewers are making a concerted effort to catch every episode of their favorite TNT dramas. The following are the final Live + 7 figures for episodes airing the week of Aug. 20:
· Major Crimes (Aug. 20): 7.1 million viewers; 1.7 million adults 18-49; 2.3 million adults 25-54
· Perception (Aug. 20): 5.8 million viewers; 1.5 million adults 18-49; 2.0 million adults 25-54
· Leverage (Aug. 26): 3.9 million viewers: 1.7 million adults 18-49; 1.9 million adults 25-54
truTV
truTV scored a Top 10 ranking among cable entertainment networks for the week in primetime delivery of men 18-34.
Lizard Lick Towing (Monday at 10 p.m.) led off the week with 2.3 million viewers Monday night, ranking among basic cable's Top 5 entertainment programs in its timeslot with total viewers and key adult and male demos. The show also scored double- and triple-digit growth compared to the same timeslot last year.
Hardcore Pawn (Tuesday at 9 p.m.) chalked up 2.8 million viewers, up 5% compared to the prior week. The show ranked among the Top 5 basic cable programs in its timeslot and propelled truTV into the Top 10 overall for the night.
Impractical Jokers (Thursday at 10 p.m.) returned for its second season with 1.7 million viewers and ranked among basic cable's Top 5 entertainment programs in the timeslot with key adult and male demos. The second season premiere grew +15% among adults 18-49 compared to the show's Dec. 15 launch, while adults 18-34 grew by +5%. In addition, the show dropped its median age to 32, two years younger than the season 1 average.
TBS
TBS's Sullivan & Son scored double-digit growth last Thursday and garnered the show's largest delivery ever of adults 18-49. The episode drew a total of 2.3 million viewers in Live + Same Day, +11% compared to the previous week.
Sullivan & Son's best-ever delivery of 1,283,000 adults 18-49 was +11% compared to the prior week and +2% higher than the series' July 19 premiere. Sullivan & Son also grew +10% among adults 18-34, drawing 597,000 in the demo.
Overall, Sullivan & Son and TBS's telecasts of The Big Bang Theory accounted for 17 of basic cable's Top 20 sitcom telecasts for the week among total viewers and adults 18-49. TBS also accounted for 15 of the Top 20 sitcom telecasts with adults 18-34.
TBS scored three of basic cable's Top 5 movie telecasts for the week among adults 18-34, with its airings of 17 Again, The House Bunny and Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself. Among adults 18-49, those three movies were joined by Failure to Launch to give TBS four of basic cable's Top 5 movie telecasts.
TBS's CONAN is up this month compared to August, with total viewers growing by +11%, adults 18-34 by +6% and adults 18-49 by +10%. Last week, the show averaged 931,000 viewers in Live + Same Day, up 10% over the prior week. In the demos, the show drew 225,000 adults 18-34 and 534,000 adults 18-49. Compared to the same week last year, CONAN was up a full 50% with total viewers and 27% with adults 18-49.
