For the week of October 1, 2012, Disney Channel ranked as the #1 cable TV network in Total Day in Total Viewers (1.51 million), extended its record-streak as the #1 TV network to 69 consecutive weeks in Kids 6-11 (566,000/2.4 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (461,000/1.9 rating), and was the #1 TV network for the 3rd time in the previous 4 weeks in Kids 2-11 (848,000/2.1 rating).
Competitively, Disney Channel outperformed Nickelodeon by double-digit margins for the 48th straight week in Kids 6-11 (+45% - 566,000 vs. 390,000) and for the 50th consecutive week in Tweens 9-14 (+57% - 461,000 vs. 294,000).
In Prime, Disney Channel has been the #1 cable TV network for over 7 years in Kids 6-11 (991,000/4.2 rating - 385 weeks), and for over 2 consecutive years in Tweens 9-14 (854,000/3.6 rating - 120 weeks).
· Sunday's "Good Luck Charlie" stood as the week's #1 TV telecast in Kids 2-11 (2.31 million/5.8 rating) and Kids 6-11 (1.86 million/7.9 rating), spiking to 3-month highs across key demos, including Total Viewers (4.20 million - since 6/24/12) and Tweens 9-14 (1.70 million/7.2 rating - since 7/1/12).
· The season 2 "Austin & Ally" premiere became the series' #2 telecast on record in Total Viewers (4.02 million) and Tweens 9-14 (1.79 million/7.5 rating), and was its most-watched telecast in over 8 months in Kids 2-11 (2.22 million/5.6 rating) and Kids 6-11 (1.84 million/7.8 rating) - since 1/29/12.
