CBS Wins Thursday in All Key Ratings Measures
TWO AND A HALF MEN delivered season-high ratings in viewers and key demographics, helping CBS to a Thursday win in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 18.
TWO AND A HALF MEN, with guest star Miley Cyrus, was first in households (8.5/13), viewers (13.60m), adults 25-54 (5.2/13) and adults 18-49 (4.0/11). TWO AND A HALF MEN posted its best deliveries in these measures since moving to Thursday.
THE BIG BANG THEORY swept its time period, finishing first in households (9.5/16), viewers (15.40m), adults 25-54 (6.2/17), adults 18-49 (4.7/15) and adults 18-34 (3.1/11). THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34. Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +4% in households (from 9.1/15), +9% in adults 25-54 (from 5.7/15), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 4.5/13) and added +1.17m viewers (from 14.23m, +8%).
ELEMENTARY was first in households (6.9/11), viewers (10.84m), adults 25-54 (3.1/08) and adults 18-49 (2.3/06).
PERSON OF INTEREST was first in households (8.6/13) and viewers (13.83m), and was second in both adults 25-54 (3.9/09) and adults 18-49 (2.8/07).
For the night, CBS was first in households (8.2/13), viewers (13.06m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and adults 18-49 (3.1/09).
