NBC Finishes #1 or Tied for #1 During Seven of the Season's First Eight Weeks for the First Time in 10 Years
NBC spins the numbers for the week of November 12-18.

For the Week and the Season:

* NBC has tied for #1 for week 8 in adult 18-49 rating. For the first time in 10 years, NBC finished #1 or tied for #1 during seven of the season's first eight weeks.

* Versus the same week last year, NBC is up 14% in 18-49 (2.5 vs. 2.2). The other Big 4 networks are all down versus the same week last year.

* Season to date, NBC is now up 23 percent versus one year ago (3.2 vs. 2.6), having moved from #4 at this point last year to #1 this year

* NBC's 3.2 season average is its highest average at this point in the season in five years (since 2007).

For the Week:

* NBC is up versus the same week last year in every key ratings category by double-digit percentages.

* "Sunday Night Football" was #1 for the week in total viewers, adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54; men 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54; women 18-49, women 25-54 and teens 12-17.

* Monday's "The Voice" was #1 for the week in women 18-34 and 18-49.

* Tied for the #1 new drama and #2 drama overall on the broadcast nets, Revolution.

* The #1 Friday series, Grimm. Rankings exclude sports pre- and post-game shows.

NBC currently accounts for three of the top five new shows of the fall:

In addition to being up for the season by 23 percent in 18-49 (3.2 vs. 2.6), NBC is up 18 percent in total viewers (8.7 million vs. 7.4 million) and up by double-digit percentages in all other key categories. NBC is the only network among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox that's up versus year-ago averages in 18-49, total viewers or any other key measure.
