time in 10 years, NBC has finished #1 or tied for #1 during nine of
the season's first 10 weeks.
Versus the same week last year, NBC is up 13% in 18-49 (2.6 vs. 2.3)
and up in all other key categories by double-digit percentages.
Season to date, NBC is now up 23 percent versus one year ago (3.2 vs.
2.6), having moved from #4 at this point last year to #1 this year
NBC's 3.2 season average is its highest average at this point in the
season in five years (since 2007).
NBC's 14 percent lead over #2 CBS in 18-49 (3.2 vs. 2.8) is the
biggest for any network at this point in the season in 10 years (since
NBC led by 17% at this point in 2002).
For the Week:
* NBC is up versus the same week last year in every key ratings
category by double-digit percentages.
"Sunday Night Football" was the #1 primetime show of the week on ABC,
CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and total viewers, adults 18-34,
adults 25-54, all key adult-male demos and teens 12-17.
* NBC had 3 of the top 7 primetime shows in 18-49 on ABC, CBS, NBC
and Fox: #1 SNF, #4 Monday Voice and #7 Tuesday Voice.
