With mainly encores of its scripted series, CBS had all of the week's top 10 non-sports programming and overall had 13 of the top 20 broadcasts while finishing a competitive second to sports-driven competition, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the holiday week ending Dec. 30.

THE 35th ANNUAL KENNEDY CENTER HONORS (S) swept its time period in households (5.2/09), viewers (8.18m), adults 25-54 (2.2/05) and adults 18-49 (1.4/04) with its best adults 25-54 rating since 2009 and best adults 18-49 rating since 2010.
Compared to the special last year, THE 35th ANNUAL KENNEDY CENTER HONORS was up +38% in adults 25-54 (from 1.6/04) and +27% in adults 18-49 (from 1.1/03).
