"60 MINUTES" MAKES THE TOP 10 FOR THE SIXTH TIME IN SEVEN BROADCASTS
60 MINUTES is in the Nielsen Top 10 again. It was the sixth time in seven broadcasts that the CBS newsmagazine made the list, drawing 11.65 million viewers to land at #7 for the week.
It was also a Top 10 program in households (7.6/12), landing at #5 in that measurement, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013.
It was the 10th time 60 MINUTES made the list in 16 broadcasts this season.
On Sunday's program, Steve Kroft interviewed President Obama and outgoing Secretary of State Clinton in the first U.S. joint interview the President has ever given featuring anyone other than his wife. The broadcast also featured Scott Pelley's news-making interview with U.S. Anti-Doping Agency CEO Travis Tygart about Lance Armstrong's "confession" to Oprah Winfrey.
The broadcast was also a trending topic on Twitter Sunday evening.
CBS News Chairman Jeff Fager is the executive producer of 60 MINUTES, America's #1 news program.
