NBC highlights for the week of April 8-14

Monday: "The Voice" (5.0 rating, 12 share in adults 18-49, 14.0 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) grew week to week by 6 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 5.0 from a 4.7) and 5 percent in total viewers (14.0 million vs. 13.3 million) and was the night's #1 non-sports telecast in both categories. These are "The Voice's" highest 18-49 and total-viewers results so far this cycle on either a Monday or a Tuesday. In 18-49, the 5.0 is the show's highest rating on any night of the week since Monday, March 12, 2012 and in both 18-49 and total viewers, it's the top-scoring Monday "Voice" since that same date. "The Voice" was up 14 percent versus the third Monday telecast of the prior cycle (4.4 on September 24, 2012) and up 25 percent versus the same night last year (4.0 on April 9, 2012).

In total viewers, "The Voice" beat "Dancing With the Stars" head to head (14.0 million vs. 13.2 million) for just the second time, with the prior time being October 1, 2012 (with 12.6 million vs. 12.4 million for "Dancing").

"Revolution" (2.2/66 in adults 18-49, 6.1 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) matched the prior week's 18-49 rating, despite this week's competition from CBS's NCAA Basketball Finals. "Revolution" tied as the #2 non-sports show of the night on ABC, CBS NBC and Fox. Note that "Revolution" has established itself as a highly time-shifted show, growing during the prior week by 46 percent going from its next-day "live plus same day" rating (2.23) to its "live plus seven day" rating (3.25).

Tuesday: NBC finished #1 Tuesday night in adults 18-49, with "The Voice" (4.4/14 in 18-49, 13.3 million viewers overall from 8-9:01 p.m. ET) ranking as the #1 show of the night with a 7 percent gain in 18-49 and total viewers versus its most recent telecast that ran opposite an original "NCIS." This week's "Voice" was also up versus the year-ago Tuesday telecast by 26 percent in 18-49 and 48 percent in total viewers. "The Voice" won its time period head to head by 63 percent over CBS's "NCIS," which tied for the #2 telecast Tuesday night with "NCIS: LA" (4.4 vs. 2.7). In total viewers, "The Voice" out-delivered ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" for a second night in a row (with 13.3 million at 8 p.m. vs. "Dancing's" 12.1 million at 9).

The debut of "Ready for Love" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 3.7 million in total viewers from 9-11 p.m. ET) earned NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period since January 22 (excludes the night of the State of the Union Address). In total viewers, it was NBC's biggest overall audience in the slot, excluding live news, since February 5. In the time period, "Ready for Love" tied for #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-34 and was #2 outright among those networks in women 18-34.

Wednesday: A special Wednesday rebroadcast of the prior week's "Hannibal" premiere (1.0/3 in adults 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall at 10 p.m. ET) built by 11 percent on its 18-49 lead-in from an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (0.9/3 in adults 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall at 9 p.m. ET).

Thursday: "Hannibal" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall at 10:01 p.m. ET) grew versus the prior week's series premiere in 18-49 rating (to a 1.7 from a 1.6) and in total viewers (4.376 million vs. 4.360 million) to score NBC's top 18-49 rating in the time period with entertainment programming in 13 months, since March 1, 2012 (excludes live news and sports).
