"Survivor" Narrows the Gap with "American Idol"

Last night's broadcast of SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN - FANS vs. FAVORITES delivered season highs in viewers and adults 25-54 while matching its highest adult 18-49 rating, according to Nielsen updated live plus same day ratings for Wednesday, April 17.

SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN - FANS vs. FAVORITES (8:00-9:00 PM) delivered its largest audience of the season with 9.99 million viewers, best adults 25-54 rating (3.9/10) and matched the season's best adults 18-49 rating (2.7/08).

SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN - FANS vs. FAVORITES finished in its closest competitive position this season with "American Idol" in their common hour in both viewers (-1.98m, falling below 2 million viewers for the first time) and adults 18-49 (-0.4) and matched its closest competitive position with adults 25-54 (-0.4).
