FOX (12.184 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.2, #1) was the network to beat on Wednesday thanks to another two-hour "American Idol" (12.184 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.2, #1).
CBS (7.791 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2) then took home the silver with a new "Survivor: Caramoan - Fans vs. Favorites" (9.829 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.7, #2) followed by repeats of "Criminal Minds" (5.950 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T5) and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (7.595 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T5).
Next up was NBC (5.607 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3) with fresh installments of "Dateline NBC" (5.534 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.3, #9) and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (7.220 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T3) plus a repeat of "Chicago Fire" (4.068 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T11).
