CBS Sweeps Another Week in Viewers and Key Demographics
CBS spins the numbers for the week of May 6-12.

CBS SWEEPS ANOTHER WEEK IN VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOGRAPHICS

"NCIS," "The Big Bang Theory, "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "Person of Interest" are the Top Four Shows of the Week

"The Big Bang Theory" is the #1 Program in Adults 18-49

CBS Maintains Across-the-Board Leadership as the Season Nears its End

CBS was first in viewers for the 11th consecutive week, in adults 25-54 for the ninth consecutive week and in adults 18-49 for the sixth time in eight weeks, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending May 12, Week 33 of the 2013-2014 season.

Among viewers, CBS had the top four programs - NCIS, THE BIG BANG THEORY, NCIS: LOS ANGELES and PERSON OF INTEREST.

Among adults 18-49, CBS has three of the top 10 broadcasts, including the top program/comedy (THE BIG BANG THEORY) and the #2 comedy (TWO AND A HALF MEN). CBS had 11 of the week's top 20 programs including THE BIG BANG THEORY, TWO AND A HALF MEN, NCIS, SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN FINALE, 2 BROKE GIRLS, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN - FANS vs. FAVORITES, CRIMINAL MINDS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, PERSON OF INTEREST and MIKE & MOLLY.

THE BIG BANG THEORY, TWO AND A HALF MEN and NCIS beat both editions of "American Idol" in adults 18-49 for the second consecutive week.

With one week to go in the season, CBS maintains leadership in viewers (11.91m), adults 18-49 (2.9/08) and adults 25-54 (3.8/10).

For the week in viewers: CBS (9.35m), ABC (7.19m), NBC (5.73m) and FOX (5.40m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (2.8/07) and adults 18-49 (2.0/06).

For the week in households: CBS (5.9/10), ABC (4.7/08), NBC (3.7/06) and FOX (3.4/06). Season-to-date: CBS (7.4/12), ABC (5.0/08), NBC (4.4/07) and FOX (4.3/07).

For the first 18 days of the May Sweep, CBS is first in households (5.8/10), viewers (9.15m), adults 25-54 (2.7/07) and adults 18-49 (1.9/06).

CBS Weekly Highlights:

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (4.5/07, 6.99m) was second in adults 25-54 (3.2/09), adults 18-49 (2.6/08) and adults 18-34 (2.2/08). HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was the night's #1 scripted program in adults 18-34.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (4.2/06, 6.74m) was second in adults 25-54 (3.1/08) and adults 18-49 (2.1/06). Compared to last week, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT was up +8% in households (from 3.9/06), +11% in adults 25-54 (from 2.7/07), even in adults 18-49 and added +530,000 viewers (from 6.21m, +9%).

2 BROKE GIRLS (5.0/08, 7.97m) was second in adults 25-54 (3.6/08), adults 18-49 (2.7/07) and adults 18-34 (1.8/05). Compared to last week, 2 BROKE GIRLS was up +6% in both adults 25-54 (from 3.4/08) and adults 18-34 (from 1.7/05), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.6/07) and added +120,000 viewers (from 7.85m, +1%). 2 BROKE GIRLS was the night's top-rated scripted program in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

HAWAII FIVE-0 was second in households (5.1/08), viewers (8.01m) and adults 25-54 (2.7/06, -0.1 behind ABC). Compared to last week, HAWAII FIVE-0 was up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 2.5/06), +12% in adults 18-49 (1.9/05 from 1.7/05) and added +250,000 viewers (from 7.76m, +3%).

NCIS was first in households (11.1/18) and viewers (17.56m), and was second in adults 25-54 (4.4/12, -0.2 behind NBC) and adults 18-49 (3.1/10).

NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in households (8.4/13) and viewers (13.18m), and was second behind an extended "The Voice" broadcast in both adults 25-54 (3.4/08) and adults 18-49 (2.4/07). Compared to last week, NCIS: LOS ANGELES was up +6% in adults 25-54 (from 3.2/08), +9% in adults 18-49 (from 2.2/06) and added +120,000 viewers (from 13.06m, +1%).

SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN - FANS vs. FAVORITES was first in adults 25-54 (3.5/10), second in households (5.8/09) and viewers (9.51m), and was tied for second in adults 18-49 (2.6/08, with FOX's "American Idol"). This was the first time SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN - FANS vs. FAVORITES tied "American Idol" in adults 18-49 and for the fourth straight week, SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN - FANS vs. FAVORITES finished in its closest competitive position this season with "American Idol Wednesday" in their common hour in viewers (-300,000). Compared to last week, SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN - FANS vs. FAVORITES was up +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.4/10), +8% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/08) and added +260,000 viewers (from 9.25m, +3%).

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (6.4/10), viewers (9.72m), adults 25-54 (2.9/07) and adults 18-49 (2.2/06).

THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in households (9.9/17), viewers (16.30m), adults 25-54 (6.4/19), adults 18-49 (4.9/14) and adults 18-34 (3.4/14). Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +10% in adults 18-34 (from 3.1/11), even in adults 18-49 and added +10,000 viewers (from 16.29m). THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in adults 25-54 (4.8/13) and adults 18-49 (3.5/11), and was second in both households (7.9/13, -0.1 behind FOX) and viewers (12.83m). Compared to last week, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +1% in households (from 7.8/13), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 4.6/12), +9% in adults 18-49 (from 3.2/10) and added +710,000 viewers (from 12.12m, +6%).

PERSON OF INTEREST was first in households (8.0/13) and viewers (13.16m), and was second in adults 25-54 (3.6/09) and adults 18-49 (2.4/07). Compared to last week, PERSON OF INTEREST was up +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.5/09), even in adults 18-49 and added +200,000 viewers (from 12.96m, +2%).

ELEMENTARY was first in viewers (9.29m) and was second in households (5.9/10), adults 25-54 (2.7/07) and adults 18-49 (1.9/06).

UNDERCOVER BOSS was first in households (4.5/08), viewers (7.00m), adults 25-54 (2.1/07) and adults 18-49 (1.6/06). Compared to last week, UNDERCOVER BOSS was up +5% in adults 25-54 (from 2.0/06) and +33% in adults 18-49 (from 1.6/06).

BLUE BLOODS was first in households (6.6/11) and viewers (10.30m), and was second in adults 25-54 (1.9/05) and adults 18-49 (1.2/04). BLUE BLOODS was Friday's #1 program in viewers.

60 MINUTES was first in households (6.5/13), viewers (10.26m), adults 25-54 (2.2/07) and adults 18-49 (1.5/06).

SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN FINALE (S) (8:00PM-10:09 PM) was first in households (5.9/10), viewers (10.16m), adults 25-54 (3.6/09) and adults 18-49 (2.7/08).
